Wink I'm thinking of turning my scooter into a solo sled, I have a new  fender guard (found a nos unit a couple of years ago) what have folks been doing to replace the sissy bar? I've seen a machined cross brace in some of the pictures, any idea where to get one?
thanks

For long trips I just leave the sissy bar on to lash gear to, just remove the pad.  The cruiser bar you are referring to is available from a couple of sources.  I think I got mine from Direct Line Parts.  If you found a fender rack, then that is the hard part.  This is the one I have:  http://www.directlineparts.com/product.asp?pid=1262&str=2

This is a another non-machined bar: http://www.bigbikethings.com/CruiserBar.html
