I've searched old threads and unfortunately, the information is now outdated.
I am trying to get the correct part numbers for a set of floorboards for my 99 I/S. they are the Transformer II floorboards.  Mr. whiskey told me they now make it with adaptors to fit the Valkyrie. So far, dealers and Honda parts depts. are striking out and it's like I know as much about it as they do. Anyhow, if someone has done this,  would you  steer me to the correct answer on the part numbers.  I have some numbers from searching on this board, but some of them have been discontinued, so I thought I would start over.   Any help would sure be appreciated.

I am on travel now, when I get home I will post what worked for me.

At the Leesburg meet one bike had them with homemade mounts.  He used the three mount holes.  Maybe post the question in the Florida board and he will speak up.  His method is more sturdy.

yeah, I read that old thread, problem is some of the part numbers are no more. I used the part numbers when talking to Kurykan and Kirk. Both parts department ladies could not help me figure out the right combination with current available part numbers, so I got frustrated and came here.  I may just order the floor boards and figure it out from there.   I really appreciate you trying to help me out here brother. I'll keep researching.  Wink

The Valk I saw with home made adapters at our Leesburg meet has me thinking about making something similar.  If you look at the transformer boards there are three mounting holes.  This allows for placement forward or back based on personal preference or to allow for various bags.  This rider used all three holes.  He drilled matching holes in the plate that the pegs are mounted to.  Then he offset the transformers away from the plate with steel blocks drilled to match.  Long bolts and black paint finished the job.  Very solid.  Simple solution, better in my opinion.

The wife likes the transformers.  Good accessory for longer rides.

Yeah, I was looking at the possibilities of using all three holes and I think you have it right. It would be a very solid mount. thanks for the information. I believe I will fabricate a mount like you are describing. Appreciate it Gil. cooldude

Hey Gil, if you happen to get a chance, can you send a pic of the mount, or sketches of the mount? Just want to make sure I am on the same page with you. Thanks
