first are you guys have been a great help in the purchase of my valkyrie thanks a lot I appreciate it. Its a 1999 standard 17000 miles.when it comes to typing I'm slower than hell.I am also not very tech savvy. I live in the New Waverly Texas area will be interested in hearing from any riders in my area.I have had many motorcycles most of which were Hondas but this is my first valkyrie black and silver. Please forgive me if I do not respond quickly like I said no tech skills at all.thanks again and have a great night

Welcome, I ride near you a lot, one of my and many others' favorite riding area. You'll like it here, the knowledge and help is plentiful, just ask. Once you are familiar with the necessary service program for the Valkyrie, you will find it to be a pretty simple machine to work on. Repair what's needed and ride the rest of it. Ride Safely.

Also, if you scroll down from the General Board, you will find a bunch of Boards for several states,  Texas is one of them.

You have one very knowledgable fellow in your state.

He is the expert on rear end maintenance.

If you attend an InZane, one coming up in June, your state rep will tear the rear end out of his bike and walk ya through all the maintenance needed to keep the Phat Lady running.

Link to InZane for 2014, in case you are interested.   Dates are June 9th to the 12th.

You can double click on the above line and it will take you to the information on it.

This link will get ya too the Reistration page and give ya more details.

http://www.valkyrieriders.com/InZane/Registration1.html

221 people have signed up so far.

To be able to reserve a room you need a registratoin #.

Before I got stuck on O2, I attended all from #1 to #10 or #11.   Forgotwhich one.    This year it is in North Carolina.    Great riding country there.

Welcome to our little group.  While this is the Republic of Texas Chapter board, you can see we have posters from all over.

You should definitely try to come to the Gathering of the Fools next weekend to meet other Valkyrie riders from not only the Houston area but all over the country.  I believe it's the 2nd largest gathering (after Inzane) of Valkyries in the US.

Welcome,

You have to learn to post pictures.  I have a 99 standard, silver/black too.  It's nice to see what others have done with their bikes.

It is just south of Houston.

PM HotGlue for directions and sign up on the sign up page.
His wife FlamingoBabe posted the sign up sheet here on the Texas board.

Investigator, You have to go to this link and scroll to the bottom of the page.   Click on the link that says "send this member a personal message."  Ask Mark for directions to his house or his address.  He doesn't give it out on the internet.
Look forward to seeing you there!!!
