In my ongoing quest for the brightest possible headlight...  I found an LEDH4 replacement  bulb.  It's straight plug and play except for a little difficulty getting the retention clip around the wider base.  There are three big surface mount LEDs.  Two are on for low beam and the third comes on for high beam.  It throws a broad solid beam with no shadows. Both low and highbeam are excellent.  The only oddity is there is there not the huge difference between low and high like with a halogen bulb. There is still a difference...  Just not the usual night and day thing.  It throw a great beam and is so bright that my son won 't ride in front of me during the  Day !  $59 bucks.  I'll add the link later for aanyon  who is interested.

Here's a link to a pic at night.

How are drivers reacting this bulb? Your daylight pics looked inzanely bright, like staring at the sun.

I was just going to add the new pic to my previous post about the light but I couldn't find it for some reason. Anyway...

As bright as it is even on low beam ,  I thought people might be flashing their brights at me at night but so far it hasn't happened at all. I have noticed that cars do seem  to move more quickly out of my way in the passing lane during the daytime.

But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

Thanks BF... I don't know why I couldn't find my original post.  By the way, after a few more night time rides, I'm still real pleased with the light. I raised the angle of the headlight a few degrees and it's even better now.
