Let's try this again. How does one extract the bulb from the boot that's holds the neutral, blinker and high beam lights?

That doesn't answer his question.

I think this part says how: "Take the small Stanley and carefully pry off the little plastic chrome rings around the indicator light lenses.  Pull the rubber light sockets out, notice which color wires go where." Essentially what the manual says to do.

Nope he is asking how to remove the bulb from the boot not the boot from the bucket.

cooldude That's what he's asking. They are a PITA! In fact, I eventually decided to do the following indicator lights mod. One of the better upgrades IMO.

Yeah, went back and re-read his post. If the bulb is sticking to the boot, you can slide a thin sewing needle in along side, then slide it around the bulb to peel it loose. It won't help this time, but before you put a bulb back in, apply a thin wipe of silicone 'bulb' grease, so next time it'll come out easy.

If they don't pull straight out I use a bulb puller for a 3890 cheque sorter.  Not that that is going to help you.   Cheesy

Get some silicone hose, like the kind used on the mighty vac.  Force it over the bulb and pull straight out, it should take the bulb out.

Hope that helps you.
