The annual Texas VRCC hill country ride-in has been set for October 23-25, with Ground Zero being located at the Peach Tree Inn in Fredericksburg.

Friday will be the arrival day, with dinner that night.
Saturday will be for riding and Harvest Classic visiting during the day, and grilling burgers/etc. that night.
Sunday is departure day.

The Peach Tree has been a favorite over the years, with a grill out back that we've used for Saturday's dinner, a meeting room for gathering, and a courtyard where we have sat and swapped fish stories all night long.  The Harvest Classic is just up the road, with lots of good attractions, and of course the riding in the hill country just can't be beat.  I hope everyone can make it.

We have a block of rooms set aside. The rate is slightly higher than last year, because there's a wine festival that weekend, making it a "premium" weekend.  We are still getting a group discount on the rooms, though, so make sure you tell them you're with the VRCC.  If you want to book online, there are a separate group of rooms there, just put VRCC in the notes of your booking, or tell them when you check in, and they'll discount it at the time of check in.
The Peach Tree Inn
401 South Washington
Fredericksburg, Texas 78624

Anyone with any questions about this event is free to post here or PM me.

Could a guy from Bama get in on this too? I love to ride the hill country, but for one reason or another I've never been able to make one of your group rides... always wanted to, just didn't get 'er done. Anyway, I've taken the liberty of reserving a room and placing this event on my calendar... Sure hope that's OK...

Absolutely.  We'd love to have you.  All VRCCers and friends are welcome.

Postscript to my comments above:
I'll cross-post this to the national board soon, after I've given the Texas forum denizens a bit of a head start on booking.

The cabins on grapevine creek in Luckenbach are available to us again this year if anyone is interested, I know a few of us will be staying there. https://www.facebook.com/luckenbachlodgecabins If interested give me a call (210) 478-8476 Curtis
He said we could have them for $ 100 a night.

I've contacted all three and asked, urged, cajoled, and pleaded... MITCHO and Troutdude are probable, standard caveats of weather, wives, unknowns and unforeseeables notwithstanding of course. T-man 403 would definitely like to come, but the picture is more complicated for him... therefore, he's doubtful at best. I'm 'in' myself... well, standard caveats notwithstanding with yours truly as well... Except for the wife thing... I am blissfully matrimonially unencumbered... See y'all there!!!

Chris, don't know your situation or anything, but here is what I offer.

I have a suite.  Did not want it, but took it.  I am alone.  I have a king bed.  Not to interested in sharing my bed with another guy.  If you have air mattress and wish to share some space, I am willing to share with the new guy.

I am older than most, some say I snore a little, non-smoking room.

Hate to have you miss out on your first possible Valkyrie ride in.

I am ABSOLUTELY SO Bummed about the choice of weekends! UGH!  I have another activity that whole weekend so Steve and I won't be able to hook up with y'all. Was SO looking forward to it since meeting SO many fine folks last year!
Hope to see ya on the roads...perhaps in a winery a little closer to the center of this fine state!
Enjoy!

yer ask'in / talk'in to the wrong people ....

" Concerning Processing Time-Frame: Because our shirts are made-to-order right here in San Dimas, CA, please allow one to three weeks for processing. For more information, please refer to our Shipping Information page."

I believe oz does not run , has no dealings the f-6 store any longer ...        Smiley
ask on the national board  or call the f-6 store to find out for sure   ...  Undecided

John

Oz said he wanted to work on the shirt with the F6 store.  Not all has been disclosed.

I hadn't worked on an overflow.
If there's enough call for it, I'll call around.  Anyone have a preference?  If we get enough rooms blocked out, we might get a bulk discount.  Thus, I'm looking for suggestions of a place, plus a rough headcount on how many rooms we need.

I am working on a way to be free to ramble that way this year. Rode with you all in 2013, and have wanted to go back ever since. I really enjoyed! At this time, 80% sure I will be there.  Firefighter
