Fitted new front tire, brake pads.

Put everything back together. Rode bike down my short driveway click click click .

Back into garage and on to lift. Removed speedo at wheel and reassembled. Still click click click.

Back into garage and on to lift for the second time. Removed speedo at wheel and reassembled. Still click click click.

What do I need to do to stop it clicking???  Sad

EDIT

Forgot to mention that the inner cable is easily shaken to reveal the slot at the lower end as the cable slides out of the outer casing.

Your left fork is too far to the the right.  By either tapping the axle in more, or repositioning the fork tube so its flush with the head of the axle, then, with the left side pinch bolts retightened, do the rest over and that should fix it

It is probably the rivits on yoour brake disk hitting the caliperr not the speedo cable.  The axle needs to be adjusted.

Nope. Sound was from speedo.

Chris's answer was the correct one for my situation.
