You guys read BonS will stop with the digisync & Smart Switch? He hasn't fully said about all the other items he's building.

http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,94242.0.html

I was wanting the IS tail light LED mode, and was going to wait on doing that to buy the Smart Switch. But now, seems I'll be going ahead with the SW right away.

They are $50 USD, for the dual IS. $40 for the single.

I already have the 1st Gen digisync, so don't need that. Any one interested in putting in a group order, or just request a pick up in InZane?

For your IS, it will give you noticeably brighter headlights using the OEM bulbs....and also aftermarket upgrades if you choose or already have them. I've wanted to do this for a couple years...should have just purchased one last year when I was speaking with BonS about it at InZane.  Everytime I ride at night I wish I had better light.

As msb mentioned, brighter lights, power from the battery goes straight to the head light on a heavier gauge wire on a relay. Out starter switch is already bypassed and the head lights are on a relay, but power/light is limited to the gauge of the OEM wire.

I'm looking for a brighter day time head light, as my night riding is limited to less than 1%.

Mike, did you have a timeline you want the switch by? For the ride to IZ is what I want it for.

Oh, Paul, I still have the head light modulator for you, and we still need to settle up on the piggies and centre cover too. It's been that long since I've seen you last. Did you still want the modulator? Then we need to install it. Apr 22 is the maintenance day in N Van, and rid eafter. I'll be doing my oil and fairing (modulator not working, and replace to 65/55 bulbs) work.

Thanks for the answer.

I'm not interested in modifying my bike any more. I kind of like it just the way it is. Like Gord, I don't ride at night very often so I don't need a brighter headlight. I also don't want a modulator. I found on my last bike that it was effective when alerting vehicles turning into my path but also noticed that it regularly pissed off motorists if I was following them. Many adjusted their mirrors so they wouldn't have to see the flashing light. The last thing I want to do is piss off a cager while I'm sitting on a bike. For this reason I'm planning on leaving my girl alone. Thanks for the offer!

Paul....how long have you been married? You should know that you never "leave your girl alone"....she will always be in a better disposition if she is shown the love, affection, and attention that she deserves.... Wink

I'm not really good with the love and attention part of a relationship. I'm more of a "ride her hard and put her away wet" kind of guy! Seems to have worked for me so far!!  2funny

Mike

I just ordered up 2 dual smart switches. One fixed price for shipping. I never did get a "receipt" or confirmation for the order, so I will write BonS for confirmation.

I have the Smart Switch at home. Just need to meet up to give it to you.

Next weekend, Saturday breakfast? It'll be in my bike, when ever we meet up.
