Registration for Inzane XVIII is now open!!!  Please be sure to have your registration number available when you call the hotel to make your reservation.  Tell them you are with the Valkyrie Riders and give them the number.  If you have any issues with reserving your room, or if you need to have more than one room, please contact me.  The first thing you need to tell them is that you are with the Valkyrie Riders!  The room rate for our group is $99 per night.  Click on the picture below to get started!

Edit - This is how your call should go to make hotel reservation:

Reservation person "Which hotel?"
You: "Roanoke, VA.  I'm with the Valkyrie Riders group"
Them: "What is your 5 digit order number?"
You: " _ _ _ _ _"

I just registered, I probably should have asked before doing so but what are the negotiated rates for the hotel? (I have't reserved my room yet...)

Thanks!

It just hit me that maybe this year will be the year I make another Inzane. Haven’t been since Paducah. I’ll make up my mind this week. I’ll have to have new tires and some serious mechanican to be road worthy.

Motomama , a couple questions. Hopefully I booked the room correctly. But the phone # on the registration sent me to the generic ----- reservations. He asked which hotel. Also, I was hoping we could order hats with the registration. Any chance those could be added later ? Thanks. Sorry to be a pain in the ass. (I know that's supposed to be Ram's job)  Smiley

The call enter number is the telephone number to make the reservations.  You will need to tell them it is for the ------- Roanoke hotel and that you are with the Valkyrie Rider's group.  They will ask for the order number in order to process your reservation.  Our group rate is $99 per night.  If you are quoted any other rate, it is incorrect.

We will have the hats, but not for pre order.  They will be available to purchase at the event.

As Mr. Head said, I was able to get my room booked, but the 1-800 number is to the generic (Large Hotel Chain) reservation line, not the specific ground zero hotel.

It took some explaining but they managed to get me squared away, although she seemed a bit confused about the "Customer must supply a 5 digit code" thing, said she'd never seen anything like that before and it took her a few minutes to get it figured out.

(Not complaining, just letting you know and anyone else know to be prepared to explain what's going on to the generic folks, not the specific ground zero hotel.)

But myself and the elder spawn are booked from the 10th through the 15th now at ground zero!

Can't wait!

I could use a little explanation for the ala cart menu. The dinner, pin and poker I understand. Not sure about the mega, 50-50 and TJs references. I guess regular attenders would know all about this stuff.

The TJ arm stretch is about 6'7" of tickets for $20.  It's the arm stretch of a dude that stands at that height... which is TJ aka 5-19.

Also a pin comes w/ early bird registration, don't order one unless you want an extra.

Also Thursday dinner is included w/ full registration, don't order if you purchased full reg.

When I hit the Event Schedule I get Billings 2017.

I'm guessing the schedule is the same, just different place and time?

I don't know if this is standard or not as far as rates, but my reservation came back (on email) for two humans and not one.

I called right back to change that and was informed the group rate was $99, whether you had one or two in the room.

If any of you guys are planning on 12 in one room, I don't know what the rate is.   Grin

I tried to give my registration/order number, but she did not know what I was talking about.  I asked her to look for it (to provide it), and got the blank stare (over the phone).  I did get her to find the VRCC Roanoke group plan, and am all signed up.

My email is screwed up. I`m heartened to see yours went thru. (so now that you can bring an extra human, does that mean you`ll be bringing that exotic dancer from the PussyCat Club ?)  2funny

Well, I'm registered and have a room. So far....so good!   cooldude

Really hoping things work out 'cuz I'm looking forward to this trip. Only have a couple thousand on the bike since I last serviced the rear end but it has been sitting quite a bit in recent months, mostly used for local errands and a couple lunch rides. I'm tempted to pull it down just for peace of mind.

Similar... but there will be some changes; the schedule won't be up for a bit.

Meathead and Serk...  I know you are VERY interested in hats.  I did not add them to the pre-order page.
Closer to the event, I will take reservations of some sort, to ensure that we will have them saved for you at the event.

FYI... if you did not provide the code when you made your reservation, you will likely get a call from the hotel.  Since the rates are so deeply discounted, they are very motivated to make sure you are actually one of us!!

Actually, you should do it when you register.  But we're pretty lenient.  Order before 5/10 for early bird goodies.

Well, I figured I would call them back to give them my code. Brenda got me a new phone with a new number and I couldn't remember it when I made the res. So I gave them her number. When I called them back just now they said no we don't know anything about an order code or pass code.  2funny They did confirm my res though.  Smiley

I also had to call the hotel directly.  When I was talking to the the 800 number, I told them I was reserving a room for INZANE, not Valkyrie Riders Cruisers Club.  They couldn't find INZANE and gave me the hotel number.

I just told the very helpful guy at the 800# that I was with the Valkyrie Riders club and he looked it up and said VRCC? I said yep, I said special rate of $99, he said very stoically $299?? We had a nice laugh.  It worked out fine. Thanks to the staff!!
