West of Ol' Man River. 2019 Serkle v1.2 is looking kinda like a zombie Bart Simpson, but here it goes; I removed the astern guess, adjusted the other two, and added a 3rd Hail Mary possibility that I doubt, since it'd be rather warm, but we'll see... Now to see if I can start analyzing possible ground zero hosts within those areas to see which are even possible with the logistical constraints we're known to be working under...

Well that's pretty much a given... She's gotta learn to crawl before she can walk, before she can run. DPS is running 1.5 - 3 months out for scheduling her road test before she can even start getting on the road... Heck, at this point I'd be half tempted to rent a trailer, and do the Harley thing and trailer a pair of Valks to near ground zero just so she can ride it in the last few miles, but we'll see...

She has her car learners permit, but never got her motorcycle learners permit. In Texas, MSF class is required to get your motorcycle license. Period, full stop. IF you're 18 or over the road test is waived with completion of the MSF class. If you're a minor, you have to complete the MSF class AND pass a road test before you get your motorcycle license. Very annoying.

That is annoying. What about Valker's suggestion about scheduling in a nearby relatively small town with no long waiting list?
She called every location within a 100 mile radius (About as far as I'm willing to ride a 250cc she can take the test on on a week day) and best she could do was almost 100 miles away and only 2 weeks sooner. Learner permits usually only good in issuing state.
That's very true. However, I meant for practice purposes; with licensing before InZane departure. She should be licensed with 2 months to ride a motorcycle if everything goes right, hopefully. I just want her to have as much practice as possible before riding a Valk to <Unknown location XIX>. Speaking of which.... Another hint or two soon?

Just throwing out a guess,
Using Serk's Serkle And with some thinking New Mexico and other's Colorado.
I found a place in Taos, NM that has ample meeting space but is a little light on rooms.
Knowing some of the parameters that are necessary for a suitable location, I don't envy our staff at all when it comes to picking a suitable location.
Especially, when trying to plug those parameters into a google search doesn't yield much in the way of results.

Durango would indeed be a good destination but they are crowded like you wouldn't believe during the Summer months. Because that is their busiest time the hotels in Durango would likely be unwilling to work with us on price and services.

I'm guessing about an approximate 1200 - 1400 mile ride for me. Mostly South. Not West, but East... but not too far East.

I can't find anything in Durango that meets the parameters. I did find something in Grand Junction, CO which I think is inside the Serkle. But that wouldn't make riding in New Mexico easy to do.

You may be guessing a little short on the ride. Hmmm.... So greater than 1400 miles from Agassiz, BC Canada. So NOT in the green area... Overlaying this with the within 800 miles of me map, and we get this. If we're not being misled, it'd be somewhere in the purple that is NOT overlapping with the green and west of the Mississippi... Which leaves the Ozarks (Missouri/Arkansas) or the Texas Hill Country (Or something totally outta left field.) I'm gonna take a major WAG, and I'll say I think I'm at MOST 25% confident on this - Kerrville, TX. (And if it is Kerrville, I think I know the venue, but I redacted it myself just in case I'm right to avoid causing any problems for staff...)

Serk, I knew you were up to it and feared I had given you too (notice there are two o's in too) much information.
Fortunately you missed that there are no arrow straight roads either from your house or msb's that lead to a potential InZane location.
I'd better keep to myself now. That's too much for you.

OK, Kerriville TX (which looks very interesting to me BTW) would make it about 800 miles more than my 1400 mile guess. So... if the "a little short" response is to be taken literally, Kerriville may be out.... if it was more of an off the cuff "you're really out to lunch ) kinda response, then Kerriville is still IN the discussion

Ahha! Straight as an arrow, that's an obvious hint, it has to do with Indians. And Willow is old, ancient even, so he must be making a reference to ancient Indians, the Clovis Peoples! Ahha! And Clovis, NM falls within the location parameters, that must be it! Inzane XIX will be in Clovis, NM (Or as my dad calls it "The armpit of the world"), I'm sure of it! (The entire above commentary was tongue in cheek..... or was it?)

If there was actually a town named Armpit, I would have guessed it to be in Saskatchewan, home of actual places named Eyebrow, Elbow, and Moose Jaw (mistakenly thought by some to be named after a former PM, Brian Mulroney).

Clovis doesn't need to be literally called it... It's surrounded by cattle feed lots, so no matter which direction the wind blows, it smells like cow poop. And, those winds are strong and constant, picking up copious amounts of sand and blowing it over you. We're talking "You need to change your chewing gum every 30 minutes 'cause it gets crunchy" levels...

I’m flattered...and shocked really...how much you know about Saskatchewan The fictional Dog River. Home of one of the great television comedies of all time from anywhere. The Alaskan counterpart was "Northern Exposure" for a few years on American TV; that was a fun one also. "Corner Gas" was so cleverly written and performed that I wish it would go into syndication down here. We could learn a lot from the citizens there about how to get along even though we are all a bit different. Every country should have a Dog River. That would be an interesting destination for VRCC.
