Won't be long and I should be able to cut across the big pond and avoid Shitcago. Let me know when? We just got dumped on again too. Supposed to only be a couple of inches and its 8. These weather people couldn't predict daylight!  |

Supposedly we got 6" in 8 hours. I will agree with he 6", but not the 8 hour.
I finally talked the wife into running the Tractor. She is a farm girl so she learns pretty quick.
I think she learned to not blow the snow into the wind. LOL......

Just rain here. Rain and rain and rain. I am so glad I replaced my sump pump last Fall, that puppy is like the energizer bunny this Winter. Ground is entirely soaked and will take no more water, and ground water to 18" from surface, well above my split level basement.
Yeah, I could only imagine if this had all been snow. At least you don't have to shovel rain, but you do have to pump it.

I have to hack my leg up too high to get a good grip on the brake pedal. That in turn gives me a lot of hip pain. Don't worry about my problems, I'll be here to break bread with ya and see that ya get a nice clean place to stay for the night. |
