Jimmy T.

I've had Las Vegas on almost since day 1 on my Signature on the Temp Board for VRCC.

A few weeks ago, I went to change my signature here.    Some how I screwed it up royally, tried to repair it and got flustrated.   So I just copied the one off of my VRCC Temp Board Signature and put it on here.

I was always curious as to what the temp was in Vegas.    I know when I went throught there numerous times on MGM, it always seemed to be verly verly hot.   Also had some friends who lived in Vegas.    One retired and went to Colorado, and the other one retired and staid out there.

OSS:     Short lived for being the winner.   LOL........

Sure am glad you started this thread and also sure glad the main board monitors are letting us have play time here.

Cheers, Peace,

RJ.

Right now I have nothing better to do.

Everyone gets mad if I pick on them, so I've backed off and letting things slide.

The wind here has settled down also.

I looked out at my flag the other day and thought something looked odd, but I couldn't figure out what it was.

Later in the day, walked out to the mailbox and i figured out what was wrong.

The wind over the past month or 2 had BENT my flag pole about 12" at the top.

Turned the bend UP and refastned the pole to the holder.     Looks good to me.

My flag, flies 24/7/365.   It gets a fray in it, it get replaced and the old flag gets taken over to The American Legion Headquarters for a decent burial.    In fact, they are having one the 10th.   I think I have 2 to take over.   One of mine and 1 from the shop.

Not this one WORD crap again, or did I just miss something? Happy Bday Jimmy! Take care of yourself RJ! cooldude  For me I can come here and agitate the hell outa RJ or Jimmy if I want to or vise versa. This thread seems different than the rest to me for some reason. Maybe cause there are only just a few that really post??
The entire board is mostly made up of the same people with the same interest, RIDING. There is the political side and how can there not be in today's world. There are the pot stirrers and the one's that come here to argue about most anything, even if it's raining or not. They usually disappear fairly quick. For the most part this is one of the calmest board I belong to. I don't engage in political or religious view or discussions only because they are driven by one's opinion and belief's. Most differ, mine included, and most end with someone being pissed off and let the computer muscles begin. I don't care who agree's with me I belive in what I believe through life's experiences and I've had a bunch dealing with the general public all my life. (RJ you get it)
So, why do we come here? It's comfortable and we have made friends (maybe some enemies?)through this board. Maybe not in person, but we feel as though we have known each other for some time. We also get to see places and people that we may never go to or meet. I like that! I've seen people that get into trouble on the road and reach out for help here and they FIND IT! This is a good place and for those of us that respect each other and can solve our disagreements like "people". This board will go on for a good long time.

Thanks for the birthday wishes.    I got to get out with Charlie (LandElephant) Saturday for about 250 miles.   It was an awesome day.
Yesterday I got to have lunch with my son Jimmy3 and his girlfriend.  Sure was nice.
BJ ( wife ) broke her foot in March and I have been her chauffeur ever since.  Not much riding for me lately.  Then my son tore his ACL playing soccer and had to stay with us for a while.   He lives in a 3rd floor apt.  Hehe

It has been a good couple if days.

Thanks for listening.

If it was Cog-A-sock-ies it would.

Harley's never did too much for me.

Even though I did ride my personal one.

When ya haul hay it is dirty and ya get sweaty, those mixed, you is a Hayhauler.

I used to bale hay as a kid.   I rode the ass end of the bailer and shoved wires through to my partner on the other side of the bailer.

THAT IS DIRTY.

Grandpa had an outside shower we would go through before we could go in the house.   There was always clean clothes for us to put on.    Grandma was  good lady.

Life is in a lot of ways like a message board.   Roll Eyes

No one really gets in the last word until it is all finally over.  There is always something more to be said.

But if one plans properly it is very possible for him to get the last word on one more page.   cooldude

Hayhauler is a study in how one can be indeed dirty by what one must do but still remain sparklingly clean in what one chooses to be.

It is warm in southern Texas.
