Over 1,500 Central Americans are on a crusade across Mexico in the hopes of being granted asylum at the U.S. border - a move which is set to pose an enormous challenge to the Trump administration's much campaigned about immigration policies, while reminding Trump's base that they still don't have the wall they elected him to build 14 months into his presidency.

"We want to become one, supporting us shoulder to shoulder and show that together we can break down borders," say the caravan's organizers.

The Central American migrants, mostly Hondurans and Guatemalans, flee their countries because of insecurity and because they are threatened by gang members, also because of the economic and political situation in the region.

I know nothing about this "caravan" other than what has been written here. I will say anything coming from Breibart and zerohedge is pretty suspect. It does seem pretty foolish for someone wanting to illegally cross into our country to advertise themselves in such a way. I would think the Border Patrol will have little problem apprehending them.

I look at that another way, 1500 people just keep on marching right through the check points at the border.
What is the border patrol going to do?       SHOOT THEM?
I doubt it, that would create a horrendous nightmare for the administration.

If they make it to the border, I am betting that the liberals will be lined up to assist them across with language interpreters standing by. Someone has to explain to them how to join the free crap army.

I believe that Mexico is no friend of the U.S. and is working with the Left to bring our country down to level of Mexico and the rest of central America.

Why else would they continue "sending" us everyone they don't want to take care of or be responsible for?  Why doesn't their own army take care of the drug cartels, coyotes, and mass kidnapping going on there?  Why do they continually allow people to walk on through their southern border and provide them with the means to make it all the way up to their northern border.  Mexico feeds them and takes care of them until they reach the top.  Then they wash their hands and say it's the U.S.'s problem now.

Seems to me the best way to handle these folks who come here without documentation is to send them to  the Undocumented Immigrant Processing and Detention center that we would build on Adak Island in the Aleutian Island area. They should be told if coming to the US be legal or bring a coat. Maybe 4 or 5 of them.

It's the money. One of the largest sources of income is the US-specifically Mexican nationals sending back wages earned in the US. I remember an article years back about how Western Union would have gone under years ago if it wasn't for money orders from the US to Mexico. There's no way Mexico will voluntarily do anything to reduce the "trade deficit" regarding money from the north. If I were the President of Mexico, I'd do the same. But I'm an American, so, no thanks. Set the Claymores and plenty of warning signs.
