It's pouring here too, and in North Georgia.

My bike had an appointment north of Atlanta today... what can I say,
I weenied out on getting wet...

Hope your knee keeps getting better... these guys left me a ton of chainsaw
work to do last week, so I've been thinking about you...

Joe,

I haven't used a chainsaw since the late sixties... which, no doubt, partially explains all of my limbs still being intact.  As with all on this board, I hope your knee continues to improve... and I do hope you're able to ride with us this weekend!

I'm in-route to Clinton from Troutdude's house in Louisiana... and tonight I'm in Springfield, MO. I know, it does seem just a bit out of the way, but hey... all that rain y'all are mentioning, well, I'm doing the best I can to avoid that and still wind-up where I need to be to ride with the Kewl Kids this Friday. Gonna be a close call, but... we'll see...

I finally got around to registering for IZ a moment ago after reading this post. I'm not all that wild about 'planning' anything this far in advance, but I did feel a twinge of guilt after seeing your timely reminder... anyway, I did it. Heck, it's not like there is much doubt I'll be there... and I have committed to sharing a room already...

I suppose that will tip the scale towards Florida for most folks registered, but... Seems almost unfair, actually, as I consider myself to be a member of all states... Well, except for Hawaii... I haven't been there... sigh... I'm also a part-time Canadian, too, so... should I really be counted in only one state? Maybe Motomomma should give us a ruling on that...

I think that Highbinder has that many in his stable alone.  Wink

I forgot about those.  Besides mine and yours, I've maybe seen 8-9 others over the years (in VA).

We have lots of good folks left, but like many states, the urbanites, universities, young and free crap army begin to tip the balance.

Historically, the plague used to run it's course in a few years.   Otherwise, the comparison is a good one.

If you don't have chainsaw chaps go get some. In the blink of a eye and you have blood with a deep nasty cut.
