I tip my hat to Joe Manchin. He is his own man and probably a much better representative for West Virginia than the Republican candidate that tried to unseat him. He was standing just about every time the camera was on him while the majority of his colleagues was stone faced.

I noticed once or twice, Nancy used hand motions to control potential outbursts from the left and also AOC was doing a little coaching of the ladies in white too.

I thought Serks post was funny. It's called optics and the ladies didn't chose wisely. You can run from history but you can't hide, and the Democrats own that portion of there history too.

When the President spoke of the great atmosphere created for women in the last two years, they made fun of him when he made his first two points.  The President didn't quite get that at the time, but then sucker punched them by honoring them, the ones making fun of him, and making them all look foolish, to me.  Then of course they all congratulated...... themselves.

Pelosi was forced to stand a lot more than she would have had she been out in the audience sitting with Schumer like last time.  She also rolled her dentures around in her mouth a lot less.  The spotlight was on her and she couldn't be seen sitting all the time while the V.P. was standing, especially for things that should really be non-partisan.

I watched all of the SOTU. Trump recognizes that we are a Republic and that we will not become socialistic. The last part should never be assumed.

Serk's two pictures of white clothed Democratic freshmen (freshwomen) and the Klan, is, like mentioned, poor optics on the part of the women. They should've stuck with red, the power color,  

However, what those women represent is far more anti-US, and far more dangerous the the KKK.  Socialism is crap and the very antithesis of a Republic (NOT republican)standard.  The stupidity, the foul mouths, the traitorous comments of these white clothed women,  coupled with the Democratic Party's rush to the far Left, is the danger.

BTW, when Presidents Trump's SOTU speech was over, it took me not more than two seconds to turn off the TV, thereby escaping all of the BS that was certain to follow.  For your info, Trump's speech made sense and I was in step with him on everything but his comment about socialism.
