cooldude Agreed, Not hard to figure out what you meant by 53%. President Trump is a Leader, an optimistic Leader with the knowledge of how to get things done. Few others have been capable to accomplish what this President has achieved in only 2 years. IMHO, his numbers will continue to grow even with the apposing party's constant diversions. People are waking up and understanding he wants what's best for The United States of America. God Bless Trump!  coolsmiley

Ok, anybody here really think there wasn't going to be a negative post on this?
(I'm surprised it's only one so far)

And speaking of Polls, has anyone ever been hit up to take a poll?

I mean there seems to be numerous polls show up on the news everyday!

With that many everybody in the US should've done at least 10 already!!

Of course we all know how accurate they always are, right?

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_trump_job_approval-6179.html

why do u like following fake news sites?

Rasmussen reports: “The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 53% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-five percent (45%) disapprove. The latest figures include 37% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 36% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of +1.”

According to Wikipedia it shows a Rasmussen poll from April 4-8 2019 president Trump's approval rating is in fact 53% just like 98Valk stated. In fact according to a map of the US on that page his rating is above 40-49% in the majority of the state's plus a couple, WY and AL showing 61%. Of course the liberal Bastian of DC it's 17%.  And since YOU use Wikipedia for your reserch you can't refute it....

So I hate to rain on your parade but you are WRONG....AGAIN.....

I must admit, it seemed more like a group reach around than a parade, I was just trying to prevent spreading fake news, that being you hated to rain on their parade GRA, whatever you want to call it.   Go on, admit it, you didn't REALLY hate it!  The truth will set you free!

PS - And before we get too carried away with our celebrating, the polls also predicted Hillary would win in a landslide, so I personally don't put a lot of stock in them.  (although I think they finally got one right)

As an economics/history prof, my dad had a real disdain for polls. His favorite saying was "figures don't lie but liars figure." Before I'd give credence to any poll, I'd first like to know the number of interviewees of either party. If it's not a near equal spread then the poll isn't worth the paper it's written on or the time it took to run it. Polls taken in recent elections are a good example. Want to make a republican look worthless, interview a majority of democrats. Want to make a democrat look good, interview the same imbalance of demos/republican. It will make the democrat look like they can walk on water and not even get the soles of their shoes wet.

According to all I've read recently, Trump stands at about 53% approval....which I take with a grain of salt. Judging by his results, it's probably not far off. As for obama's approval rating, although rather high at times I took it with an even larger grain of salt. The man couldn't flush a commode without passing some sort of edict to force everyone else to flush theirs the same way. The man would have had a coronary in the southern hemisphere.

Even if 53% is really Trumps polled approval rating today, wait till you see how many more than 53% vote for him when the opposition names their candidate.

He got 46.1% of the vote in 2016. Against arguably the most unpopular Democratic candidate possible.

I’d be willing to put a beer on the bet that he won’t go over 46.1. Won’t even hold you to “many more than 53”.

“Windmills cause cancer”. Our President believes that.

wind turbine operations cause electromagnetic fields (EMF), shadow flicker, audible noise, low-frequency noise and infrasound, annoyances that could disrupt sleep, induce headaches or even cause mild nausea. from liberal USA today article

now if u would put your hate aside and do some research u would find that infrasound has been linked to cancer. let me help u out here.
Infrasound is Low Frequency Noise (LFN)  The medical term genotoxins is separated into three main groups: carcinogens, mutagens, and teratogens (i.e. toxins that cause cancer, genetic mutations, or birth defects)… LFN has been identified as a genotoxic agent of disease, capable of inducing blood vessel wall thickening as seen in autopsy, as well as through light and electron microscopy studies. This can lead to well known consequences such as tumor development, cardiac infarcts and/or the need for cardiac bypass surgery. The pathology caused by excessive exposure to LFN is termed vibroacoustic disease (VAD), and has been diagnosed among several occupational and environmentally exposed populations.
https://wryheat.wordpress.com/2019/04/09/how-infrasound-from-wind-turbines-can-cause-cancer/

so YOUR President Trump is smarter than you are.

Ah, yes!

This brings back memories of when I think about the day after elections, I still get that warm, fuzzy feeling.

Waking up and turning on the TV to what I thought was going to be a GLOOMY day, then turned into elation when I found out Trump won!!

And the icing on the cake seeing all those Hillary supporters wailing in disbelief!!!

Good times…

Well, I had given up beer (one of the hardest things I've done, almost as hard as giving up cigarettes) and switched to dirty Vodka martinis.  After reading Serk's latest intelligence report, I may have to start drinking SA again purely in support of the the Trumpster and RBG, (yeah, big fan of hers).  BTW Serk, what is the latest intel on RBG's ability to fog a mirror?

“Mexico will pay for the wall” our President said that.
Lied about where his own father was born.
Mocked Biden for touching women. LOL

I voted for Rubio.

Stable genius.....pffffft

So, you’re finally coming around! I thought Meathead would cave first.  Grin
