Usually after a ride, my small one car garage will have a very mild fuel odor until the Valkyrie is fully cooled down after a ride.  However, after sitting for more than a year, and then putting 1,000 miles on her in one weekend, that fuel odor lasted for over a week and is kind of still there a little bit.  Haven't noticed any leaks or standing fluids anywhere.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like an evaporation leak, not a liquid. Check intake runner O rings and vacuum hoses.

Some have found that the fuel cap lets some vapors out. Check out this thread: http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,57951.0.html

I think my fuel cap isn't sealing properly and may need replacing...  :(
