The Gates T275 seems to be the preferred belt to buy (you'll need 2). https://amzn.to/33kcvep Amazon always has them in stock, so they're easy for most people to get quickly. Also available at Rock Auto and probably order-able at your local auto parts place too.

Yeah just get Gates :cooldude: they're like 17 bucks a piece. I replaced mine when I only had 30k on the bike just because of age although the ones I took off looked fine. I now have close to 60k on those Gates belts no issues.

Besides, the Honda ones are probably just Gates rebranded (and price adjusted).

I've heard that's true.  85% of the Valkyrie's parts were made in the USA.  Since Gates is a huge supplier for OEM belts, it's very likely Honda used them as their source.

BTW, Harley's domestic parts content is less than 75%!

When Harley started selling in china , they had to build a plant there. China's policy is "if it is not made in china, then the people do not need it. When I worked at a Harley shop , a lot of the parts we got came from china.
In the middle 90's a neighbor designed and built the leather saddle bag that they later used. She was to trustworthy and did not get an agreement in writing for the design. China is making them.
