So I am just going with his idea and if it no work, so be it, I think I can make it home in a crisis if needed. Once in awhile, I'll get up and forget to switch the O2 from the CPAP to my normal leash. Realize it when wife or I happen to walk by and notice it isn't switched over.
You'd think I'd remember it but old brain no remember everything anymore.

The biggest problem with the newer concentrators, the new vehicles don't have enough poop in their cigarette lighter sockets. They concentrator pulls more amperage than the socket puts out.
If I was going to use it all the time I'd hard wire a socket from the battery direct so as to have enough.
My current pickup will carry the concentrator for driving needs, and then I use 120 v socket in the motel and for sleeping with the CPAP. It is mostly the bottle I carry when out and about. I have no way of refilling the ones I have on the road. So I have to be careful.

A power inverter isn't the problem, the unit to refill the bottles is too bulky to haul around, one outlet in my truck powers the concentrater for on the road needs.. Don't ask me why cause I don't have a clue, but that isn't my problem, I need something to reload my out & about bottles when they get empty like I can do at home. I have traveling in the truck and settin/sleeping covered, it is just the bottle refill. I got my supplier here in town scratching their head on how to refill when on the road everyday. Now if I would go and lite somewhere for at least a week, I can get that covered. These on the road suppliers want at least a weeks worth of service to even be interested, unless it is one of their regulars.. |

Hello! Just spent a wonderful day celebrating the USA and her birthday at our sons house with two of our grandkids. Ended up with a FANTASTIC Fireworks display put on by the city of Naugatuck, CT. Wow, really neat, and we ended up with front row seats! Oh, is it over? Did I win? Naw, didn't think so, but I keep making an appearance. Who knows! I could get lucky.  |

Good on you Valkahuna, hope thats spelled right.
I played lazy and did nothing except set in the A/C. Can't take these damn temps of over 100 and heat index's about 5* more that the temp.
Was able to watch the fireworks of a little town just South of us. Couldn't see them lite them off, but could really see the outcome.
Today is forecast again for 100* +.
