The peanut (though heavily utilized) is criminally under-appreciated.

Nope. In fact, hardly any free time at all. I just use it extremely efficiently. And I don't sleep much.

And this post puts me in the lead!

Since Pecan pie is so damn rich, I'm only allowed to have it once or twice a year.  Like Birthday and Christmas or Anniversary.

Other pies, if it is pie I'll eat it, except for Chicken Pot Pie, and others of the same nature.

It's funny. I'll push a piece of pie (cake, cobbler, etc.) outta the way to get to that last pork chop. Sweet stuff is OK, and I'll eat it if there's nothing else around. But I can't imagine wasting stomach space on cake or pie when there's a pork chop, or piece of fried chicken still laying on the table.
Surely there's some other folks out there with similar preferences.

Dat's da way I was till I turned 60, and then I couldn't get ALL of the fat off in the gym.

So the last Porkie Chop, Chicken, Roast, and etc went on the ONE serving per meal deal.

If I hadn't of done that, I'd of never pulled through my Quad Bypass.   The way it was it almost killed me, but as my grandmother and mom each said, I was a fighter.    1st day of school I got in a fight, night of graduation, the guy right behind me was goosing me.   Told him to knock it off or he would lose his Cap and tassel.     Started up the stairs to the stage, he got me again, I went on to the top, stopped, turned around and decked him.   Kind of did a domino effect on the line, felt sorry for the poor girl on the bottom step, but found out later she knew what was coming and slowed down in the file.

Principal who was giving out Diploma's had me step aside and he held my Diploma till the end.    He asked the crowd if I should get my Diploma for my action.        Some one in way in the back, said YES, the asshole behind him is the one who should had his Diploma held.

The Principal stepped up to the mike and said, this gentleman had been in fights since 1st grade till graduation, I know that for a fact, we are on 1st name basis.  If he hasn't been in my office by the last period, I call his class to see if he is even in class.   Then he added.

Since he is to be aboard the train in the morning for San Diego, USMC Recruit Depot, I'm giving him his Diploma.   Wish him well in his new venture.   The rest is History.   30 years later I got my College degree in Criminal Justice.   Hard to go to school, work full time and raise a family.
