It is fun to do something different.  When they freeze the topic, then  we will have a winner, and somewhere, sometime, I'll see that person and buy them a beverage of their liking.

If someone were to lock the topic, they would win... cuz they would post something first.  There are only a handful of ppl with that ability.  And even if one of them does lock it, one of the others can unlock it again.

I'd hate to think anyone thought I had to have the last word.
Please respond and don't let that happen....

Warm is correct, but I'm predicting a hell of a snow storm in April.

Snow? But it's the middle of summer.....in March.

And winning the last word on the page is like total yardage in football. Don't mean nothin.
But you still keep stats.

What is the Grand Prize for the last word?

WE MUST HAVE A GRAND PRIZE!

We should make submissions and have a poll.

I think the prize should be the Recipe and Patent on the Darkside cookies.

Chili, Iowa had a huge snow fall in April 1972.     Wife and I were back in Iowa on an early vacation.     Drove our Shaker Ranchero from Calif.

Got her in great weather.    Weather man predicted light snow showers and mostly rain.    Come morning we had close to 12" of snow on the ground.

I had to leave the Ranchero at my mom's place and wife and I flew back to California.    Thank God we had 2 vehicles at the time. besides my Cruiser and the motor.

Wife drove her car whenever she had to go somewhere, if it was close to home, I'd ride the motor and if any distance, I used the Cruiser.

Flew mom back to Iowa in July and she drove the Ranchero back.   She said she never got so tired of shifting a manual transmission in her life.

I'll go along with ya on the nuttin to do.

Got back from a Grandson's Birthday Party, and I'm pooped.

The kids all jumped on a commercial Trampoline setup.
Then had cake and drink, then the picture taking.
My Grandson said Grandpa, they never sang to me.

The gal who worked there and was setting stuff up, went out to the PA and announced the Birthday song was about to be sang at the Party Room.

Room was like 30X40, and it was packed full of people there just to jump.   Only knew the ones from our party of 30, there must have been 300 people in the room.    Sure did embarrass him...     LOL........

Ahhh...we rode all over hell and highwater today...found a new little place called Spaghetti Jim's in Traverse City. Word is gettin' around about 'em I guess. We were stuffed from eatin' sammidges at the wrong place but next time....ohhhh yehhhh.....we'll definitely be checkin' it out. Stopped at an antique bike show...saw some sweet old rides. All in all a perfect day!  Cool

rainman, I heard a rumble in the group, that if ya wanted rain on a ride just invite you to attend.

They said that was how you got your handle.    Is that true?

Cheers Brother.

Is it just me, or is this thread starting to feel more and more like a bunch of friends sitting around a campfire drinking their beverages of choice and swapping lies?

Not saying that's a bad thing, it's a good thing, just funny, and cool, how the thread has morphed...

How about 2 with the end of the page.

I just looked and I got 9 & 10.

That ought to be enough to end it.    LOL
