Left.  As for those of you that drag pegs you must have small feet.  My big skis hit before my pegs drag. 

Its all in the foot placement.  I can dangle them puppies and sure they will drag, or tuck them up properly for twisties (toes on the pegs) I feel much more contol with the extra bend in the knee and toes on the pegs when I get ready to dance a jig on a twisty road

I'm right handed so I tend to lean left with more confidence.

The road as grabbed my toe before as well. I always have cowboy boots on (size 12) and it's painful on the knee. I just pick my foot up now when the pegs hits.

Actually Willow, I feel I have more control on tight left hand turns... Just that darn kickstand can't take much more grinding, It's kinda important to have when your stopped

My theory is that we in right lane countries have more practice with long low left turns, but there are still a lot of riders that prefer to lean right.  

As I am left handed, actually considered ambidextrous. I write and throw a football left handed, but golf, shoot, and throw a baseball right handed. I don't know about that left or right brain use. I try to use my entire brain when I can (except while drinking). This study would be a great master thesis if I continue my education. I'm in the process now of testing a car tire vs motorcycle tire scientifically for my future engineering senior design studies.

Yeah me too!  I am a 13 and when I first got in a curve  my left foot caught the pavement and about folded backward where my toe was where my heel was supposed to be!!  

Perched on the pegs like a crow, my 13s were hanging down -toes pointing at the pavement. After a few of those I put some floorboards !

Same here. I write, shoot pistol, rifle, and piss left handed but I do everything else right handed. I can shoot pistol left or right although I carry mostly left.

I am Left-handed, started on dirt bikes and most tracks were run counter-clockwise.  Sure they had right hand turns, but most were short. the lefties were meant for laying the bike on it's side and pushing that rear wheel way out in the curve.  I can scrape either side now, but would be able to lean a little farther left, if it wasn't for the kickstand.  I definately feel that the left is easier because of throttle placement.

Guess I'm the odd man out.  I would prefer a right hand curve.

I'm also right handed, tho I don't think that has anything to do with it.

Maybe it has something to do with the throttle being on the right handle bar.  ??

Either way to me, makes no difference and I'm left handed.

Had to learn long time ago how to turn the bike around in very tight circles from either direction..

However, I think the reason most people prefer the left is due to the right hand on the throttle, and they feel they have more control of the throttle.

Back when I rode an Indian with the left hand throttle, I know I favored the right hand turn.   Felt more control on the throttle..

I agree, I'm left handed and am more comfy turning right.  Hoser  ???
