#34758, member since 2012 when I started looking at Valks.

However, seems like to be a "real" member you need a low VRCC number or excessive posts.

After lurking for a year or so, I joined-up... My member number was 5699... Now I can't locate myself...! Have I been drummed out of the corps? I suppose it must have happened when we changed to this new fangled board... and we had to do stuff over again. What with fat fingers and being a very low tech guy... well... I must have fallen through the cracks. I like the new board just fine... hate being lost in the wilderness, though...

Thanks for the info. I never knew what my number was. (30728) Man! If that's a sequential number, there's a lot of us.
I also posted my phone number in the mutual aid box. Not a lot of technical skill, but I do have a pickup and trailer.

Thanks, Connie... glad to be still here! Yeah, I suppose an update would be in order, but... like I said, I'm a low-tech guy tryin' to survive in a hi-tech world... 'Insecticide' was the official handle bestowed upon me by my Texas Valk buds, but I was 'authorized' by them to use the abbreviation 'DDT'... that's a story in itself. Anyway, membership here has always been a very good thing for me, and it's good to know I still exist... Thanks again...

One thing I noticed when trying to send out a blanket email to all the Illinois members, is that there are a number of members who seem to have more than one membership number. I don't know if this is due to a change in their information, or if they re-registered after a "reminder" like this one.

I would like to see the VRCC staff maybe do a clean up of the membership roles, so that we can get a clear and more accurate list.

I'm a card carry'n member. Have a plastic credit card looking membership card in my wallet. #2334. Valk went to the junk yard last August. Have a different bike since April. Been hang'n here since day one, the day everyone jumped ship from the GWRRA board. No longer a Valk owner, but kinda hard to hit the door after being here for so long.

Thank you F6Gal. I recently put together a ride and made a good effort to contact all Colorado riders. It was a very difficult task. The search you posted returned 752 members in Colorado alone. I would estimate this to only be 10% accurate.

Hopefully your efforts here will change that.

My only suggestion to you and VRCC staff would be to go through and delete any obvious entries that are not active or have any recent posts.

I would say your estimate is way too optimistic.

Almost no one is ever removed from the list.
