There is potentially a date change in the works.  Nothing is for sure yet, but toward the end of June is under consideration.  The average high temp for that time frame, in the location being considered is 77.8 degrees.

As I said, this is far from absolute, I only wanted to forewarn those that may, based on history, assume that the event will be in mid to late July.

Serk (or others), if you figure out where we're considering from that meager information, please don't let on.  :-X

Just got back from vacation and marked the calender for June and July for Inzane. I had to leave on a family emergency last year. I E-mailed everyone that I will not be available for those two months.

The VOAI Reunion is scheduled for Fathers Day week again in 2014.  We have been using that week as a permanent date for several years now, JUST to make sure we are NOT in conflict with Inzane.  We are going to be going to northern AR.

Hope there is NOT a conflict.

VOAI is the second weekend in June, and if InZane was the third weekend, I can see a huge pack of dragons riders cruising from one event to next.

Wonder how far it is from northern Arkansas to 77.8 degrees?

I doubt it.  Very few can take that much time off.  When they were close together the year of MI Inzane, there were LOTS of complaints about too close together in dates. There were almost NONE who went to both.  So, history does not bear out your guess.

So, the VOAI went to June, just to stay away from the problem in the future.  VOAI in June, and VRCC a month later.  Is working very well. VOAI has set the date for 2014 quite a bit ago. In fact, to avoid Inzane, the week of Fathers Day is more or less permanent for VOAI.

And now, it sounds like VRCC moving to a day after the finish of VOAI Reunion?  :uglystupid2:   If stay with the during the week format.  Hard to believe would do that, but???  A week away would be 4th of July, so doubt that.

A long, long ways.  More than a long day's ride for anyone not an iron butt rider.   :)

St. George Utah 77.8 degrees in June average temp. That's more than a day's ride from Arkansas, about 1350 miles.

Maggie Valley, NC has an average temp of 77 in June and is over 600+ miles from AR.  Whereever it ends up being sounds like it will be in the Mountains and that would be great.

As one who is in sales.. end of quarter time frame is just impossible.  If you made it the first of June.. that would be better.. just my 2 cents.

R J

Here are a couple of places that fit that avg temp of 77.8.

Caeyman (sp) Island, Fairbanks, Alaska & one of the Western Islands of Alaska.

Have they got that bridge built yet to Hawaii.   If so, I'll ride either MGM or the Chevy Trike over.

I'll also bet ya a $100 to $1, Hawaii is out of the picture.

Hell's fire, I'll make the same bet for the other 2 I listed.

So InZane is going to be somewhere other than where I stated.

Hey, it made for good reading.   LOL     :D :cooldude: ;D :o  :coolsmiley: :tickedoff: :2funny:

It was by no means an intentional slight; I did not know the dates of your rally. This only came about because of date conflicts for July in the areas we are considering. Although IZ is typically in July, it has been held in June in the past.

I would like to attend if its not a 3 day ride one way for me to get there. I can't win any iron but contest 5-600 a day is all I can do. Its been on average 1500 miles away the last 4 years which is as long as I have been a member of the vrcc. Not complaining everything is a long ways from here so under 1000 miles would be nice.

Oss

I usually dont get to stay the whole time at any event but I did stay the whole time this year in Lacrosse and most of the time in Ohio for that terrific VOAi rally with really great roads

and good food as well

Maggie Valley was fun. But then Joe would not get to ride cross country just to join us    :tickedoff:
seems I am always riding down his way for one ride or another each one almost a iron butt just to getthere

Lake George is about that temperature end of June beginning of July

Guess we all just have to wait and see what is what
