What's the consensus?  Valk-el-ree (sounds like walk-el-ree) or Val-kree (Val, like short for Valerie)

Seems like Honda used to say Valk-el-ree in the original commercials, the new one I hear Val-kree.  Almost everyone around here says Val-kree.

Not that it matters.

I was at a Honda dealer last year and I asked the parts counter guy for an oil filter for a 97 VALK-EAR-E. He condescendingly says to me; "it's pronounced VOL-CURR-E". I told him that if I wanted elocution lessons from a minimum wage drone I'll let him know, until then just get me the filter.

Pronounce it however you like. You can make arguments for a number of them. I'm not a viking so I don't get all norse with it but to each their own.
Boxer rebellion, the Holy Child. They all pay their rent.
But none together can testify to the rhythm of a road well bent.
Saddles and zip codes, passports and gates, the Jones' keep.

The guys behind the parts counter at my local dealership keep correcting me.
They say "Kawsasaki VULCAN", Hondas never made VULCANS.

The HD riders call then "VOL-KIE-REES", or "DEM SIX CLYINDER VICTORIES".

Ya can't fix STOOPID!!
