Looks great, and that's a different fairing than most...

Me and Hal47 were talking about backrests, and I thought some weren't
appropriate for running solo... Is that a Ultimate Big Boy?... Does anyone
know if it is safe to run one like that without a rear seat - it might
dent the fender?

BF

I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

Wow nice looking but you know you're going to have a bunch of waves jerked back so fast once they see the engine on that Road Glide.

mrider

yep it looks nice and those FL fairing are nice framed mounted no wieght on forks  :cooldude:

PAVALKER

:cooldude:   Very Nice.  Heading that way myself on a recent addition.  Tail light is on order... And I am working on a few other things...

I'd like to hear more about your fairing and how ya like it.

It is frame mounted and it is a perfect fairing. I absolutely love it, I had a Road Glide and it was an awesome touring bike. So this is the best of both worlds, a Honda Davidson  ;D

The seat is an Ultimate King Big Boy, and the backrest is bolted down into the fender, it wont dent anything.

Skinhead

I love the look of the Roadglide fairing!  Well played!

I am use to those posers, I rode HD and waved to everyone? How do u like the Russell Day Long seats on your Valk? I hear they are the most comfy out there.

Gryphon Rider

Well done!  Are you going to write an article explaining how you did it?

Bronxboy

Here are some other Valks I owned

mrider

this a first year FLTR-roadglide and i'm getting ready to install a new sound system from slick customs a jenson with alpine speakers all pull in and ready to work no wiring night mare

Bronxboy

I am going to be changing out my speakers and head unit as well. I listen to most of my music off my IPhone and ear buds anyway. I have Pandora and Sirius on my phone so music is always in my ears. :cooldude:

Ghost

They sure look nice set up solo.
I just wanna Ride............:)  And hang out with all the cool Kids riding Motorcycles.

Good to know, I just took the rear seat off so I will keep an eye on it. I always had a backrest on all my Valks and never had an issue?

Slick...Nick :cooldude: Hey that sounds pretty cool, new handle?
I didn't realize you did the forks when you did the wheels. Now seeing it, that's an absolute must, very sharp :cooldude:
If you can't be a good example: be a WARNING!!

Some other seats with backrests, like the middle-sized Ultimate and the Corbin seats, have
backrests that are made into the rider's seat. The theory is that the ones that bolt
directly to the fender may need to be bound into the extra support of the
passenger seat to spread the weight/force of the rider leaning back into the backrest
away from the point-load.

So... I wonder about this, but then I don't know how many people are running
around with solo setups like yours with zero problems... ?

  VERY nice  :cooldude:

Do you have any pics/details of the fairing install?

Reminds me a little of an overgrown CBX...
