IMHO you're gonna get some WILDLY varying answers due to the notoriously inaccurate Honda speedometers...
Highest GPS verified I've seen is 115 or so myself.
Speedo was reading 135+ as I recall.

97 tourer. Jade and cream, so that should tell you all you need to know. But, just in case, 135. I dont think the gas was even touching the side of the float bowls. She was just as smoothe as cruising at 40. Just louder, windier, demanding more attention. I finally pulled out of it, I figured if a javelina sprung out, we'd both die. Not my day.

Was 170 on my ZX14. Has a speedohealer installed to correct speedometer. Was still pulling hard, but was fast enough for me. These things are easy 200 MPH capable with minimum mods.

I had one NY State trooper said I was doing 115 mph when I passed him. He was hiding behind an overpass support.
No, I didn't get a ticket or arrested.

99 Tourer all stock. 120 indicated was about all it had. I live at over 5000ft above sea level might have something to do with it being a bit lower than others.

I have no idea what my Valkyrie will do and quite frankly, don't really care. Seems that I've grown feathers as I've aged.....................
But, back in the day, I got pulled over by a county Deputy Sheriff while I was riding my KZ1000, his radar showed me at 148 mph. Did my best to convince him it was in error. He didn't agree.

I want to know stock fastest times and also modified bikes top speeds not looking to start fights so everyone play fare Fair is not possible without some criteria. A Valk? Standard Tourer Interstate? Down hill at sea level with the wind? Saddlebags? Windscreen? It doesn't really matter what anyone posts. Most all Interstates and Tourers will go to around 120-125 on the speedo flat straight level no wind. Standards with no windscreen a bit more. My wife's old tourer with the windscreen on, down hill, down wind, about 136. A better question to ask would be is at what speed will the rear end weave handlebar shake kick in and scare the crap out of you. This same bike would shake sometimes at 100 with a good cross wind. I always thought it must be wind hitting the saddlebags.

Have had my interstate to 130 or so per the speedo (So maybe 120ish actual)....... I really couldn't tell the exact number as I was to nervous to take good look... things were getting a bit "squirrelly" At that point..... I won't do it again... But that being said, I have cruised at 100-105 for many miles with no issues and solid as a rock. Dad and I have regularly headed down to the Tennessee area and for some reason once we get south of Cincy, we just seem to ramp it up till we hit Lexington.... Have Done the whole stretch at 100 plus most all the time we head that way..... Funny thing is, we get passed almost every time by some little cracker box with a chick at the wheel.... Brad

2000 Interstate, twice at 115 mph. Was not seeing how fast it would go, trying to get around traffic without being "taken out" by oncoming cars. (Trying to keep up with a group).

Had a 94 Suzuki GSXR 711 (750 frame with 1100 wedged in) a while back, neighbor and I went out for a run (he had a Kawi ZX-11) and saw an indicated 180 on the speedo, but really do not know how accurate that gauge was. All I do know is it was pretty darn quick. Still had more to go, but the road we chose decided to turn sharper than I felt comfortable taking it at that speed, so we had to glide a bit. Saw 130 out of my Wing, and haven't run out the Valk yet to see what top end is.

124 actual on the GPS...speedo was showing higher...I got into a high speed wobble that time and a curve was coming up fast...got out of the wobble and rode on...I had just passed two Hardleys....
Most fun was passing 12 Hardleys on an uphill, steep straightaway...I looked down and was doing 105 when I passed the leader and shifted into 5th gear...many times over a 100...still pulls pretty good at 100 when you twist the wick ...

Going out West in about 1999 or 2000.
Had a GPS on it and I was on a road you could see for miles on end.
Mustang came blowing by, would slow down till I almost caught up running a locked speed with the Cruise Control.
Finally I'd had enough of his BS and hit the throttle. He was slowing down and I blew by him before he realized what happened. Ran MGM up to 129 on GPS and he was all out. Speedo was reading close to 150. So yes, they are way off up on the top end.
On the Chevy trike there was a bunch of us coming out of Spearfish headed for Rapid City. Some of us had played around going over to Spearfish but on the way back 6 of us let em all out. I was leading and the GPS said 142.
As we popped around a curve in the Median was a Trooper running his $$$$ maker for the County.
He popped up out of the median and had his lights going.
I pulled over to stop and the other ones followed right in behind me.
We all staid on our rides, he came by each one and said follow me to the front vehicle.
He got on his soap box and asked how fast we thought we were going. I opened my pie hole and said in the 120-130 area somewhere. He said my radar said your were running 140. Told him it wouldn't run that fast on a stock 350 inch engine. He said I'm inclined to believe you, so all of you get back on your rides and get the hell out of here and if I see you again you will get a little slip of paper worth about $600.00. We thanked him and we all idled more or less out on the the super slab. We got lined up and rapidly went up to 75 mph and held it there till we hit Rapid City. He followed us all the way. When we turned off the IS, we all waved to him. He burped the siren and went on his merry way.

Hit 135ish indicated a couple of times. I KNOW there is more left BUT I'd rather spend my money on loud water. Coming back from my brothers place on I-55 in Illinois I hit reserve in 112-115 miles on my I/S. Was running steady indicated 110-115 M P H. Those 6 carbs are THRISTY at that speed. Just remembered-had a semi on that hundred plus run that I moved over to right lane and let him go on! At this point in time I have not had any high speed handling issues crop up at all. RIDE SAFE.

98 Std with Honda windshield, Leatherlkye saddlebags.
A loooooong gradual down hill somewhere in Montana near Sturgis. No noticeable, cross, head or tail wind.
Pushing 140mph on the speedo. Being followed by a GPS equipped ST1300. The GPS showed 123mph
If I'd been 50 pounds lighter maybe the speed/GPS would have been more?

Got up to 125 on the speedo on the Indian Bridge between Oklahoma and Texas on my I/S, playing with a couple zip-splats and it was still pulling. I ran out of guts before I ran out of throttle. That was fast enough for me and I haven't even tried to get past 105 since then.

On my '97 red and white standard, didn't look after 125 on the speedo. Kept it wide open for a little longer. NYS Thruway at 0600. I was trying to catch up to a work mate on a GSX R1100. I could not believe how fast his bike was.

I've done 135 On interstate 17 up out of Phoenix Az. going to Prescott with a friend on his VTX 1800. He said his speedo read 131. The most fun was in Az. desert I was practicing stopping from High speed. I had a clock on the bar clamp and thought to try 0-100-0 time. When the second hand hit 12 I hit the gas and then the brake at 100 mph. I stopped and the second hand read 19 seconds. Give it a try, it's a blast. This was done on my 02 standard with windshield and bags.

'98 Tourer with trigger wheel mod. I have done the ton at least once a year, just for grins. Top speed, 120 MPH indicated on I-90 in SD. The Avon Cobras I have used are rated for 150 MPH. I'm going Dark Side this spring on an Austone Taxi Tire and will be giving up on doing the ton. At my age that's probably for the best. Here in MN, the news paper article would read "Seventy year old grandfather looses drivers license for doing 100+ MPH on a motorcycle". But I may be standing before the judge with a smile on my face.

Paul, maybe my mind doesn't remember but I was certainly impressed with the 'clicking' Smith speedo, it seemed accurate to my young mind. BTW, that was laying flat on the Flying M and 160 pounds skinny as a rail kid. It certainly had to work better than the Lucas creations.

I passed a car and some Harleys going uphill on some gentle curves on my 10 hour solo day coming back from the Pennsylvania ride... no super speeds were involved, but the curvy uphill widened out into one of those passing lane things on our side, and I was tired of poking along behind them... -Mike

A few years back on a '98 Standard, fitted with a tourer screen, Givi top box and side boxes, fully loaded, myself and the other half heading off for a few days, on the motorway passing Dublin Airport; I got the old gurl up to an indicated 125 before herself started beating me on the back of the helmet .... Years before, on the same road, in a Honda Legend 3.2 (I think you call them Acura's over there), chasing my BIL's Lexus LS400, I got as far as an indicated 140 before daggered looks from the ex 'suggested' that I slow down a bit. Both times however, I was not at full throttle. Today, I'm older, wiser, and a weeeeee bit slower .........

I was about 10 years old.
Going from a neighbors farm to ours on a rural blacktop. In old jeans, cutoff t-shirt, and Red Wing boots no doubt; sitting comfortably on my already year old daily rider, a 3 hp orange cruiser. No helmet, no eye protection, limited brakes, and a nice summer day. I've always found clarity in those moments. Having adjusted the carburetor a few times already, I was beginning to understand how a governor worked.
Clarity.
Traveling down the road at a customary 25 mph I reached under the seat with my right hand, fumbled around for the unseen spring, and then with a simple delicate finger tweaked the governor and let the engine wind up. It was a delicate dance, left hand driving, right hand directly on the horses.
Clarity.
Being 16 years old and winding up my Kawasaki H1 500 for the first time. Ape handlebars on a fire breathing machine.
Then, a long time off of big bikes.
Clarity.
Summer of 2012, Day 1 Airline out to Denver. Buying my Interstate and heading for home, 2 up. North to Cheyenne, East to Scottsbluff, North to Hot Springs, topping 100 F heat and averaging 85 mph throughout. At the end of the day I knew I had a machine that would do everything I asked of it.
I have a healthy respect for elements out of our control to test top end speeds. Under 90 mph I feel gives me that extra nano second to react to unforeseen elements. What I like about the bike more than top end speed is when you ask it to get up and go, it does. I do like to hear what others have done, but I will leave that to others.
