Just curious who impressed you the most.    Lots of Hillary and Obama bashing which I expected.
I fully expect option 11, None of the above to be swamped with Liberal votes.   Tell us what you think.

What I didn't ask was, who do you think has the best chance of beat Hildebeast or Biden.    Too soon for that.   Carson impressed me the most.    But, I honestly didn't have high expectations for him.   He did well IMHO.

I've been pulling for Kasich but I think Paul did the best. He also was the only one who had the balls to stand up to the Donald. I thought Bush looked and acted nervous all night.

I was impressed by several, namely Rubio, Cruz and good ol' Huck.  Not surprisingly, Trump imploded.  I heard Carly was good earlier but didn't see it.

Yeah she clearly won the early debate. But the other guys SUCKED. I'm not sure how she would have done at the big table.

Well I didn't come to a final conclusion tonite but these are my results on who did the best.

Cruz

Kasich

Rubio

Huckabee

Paul

Christie/Bush...IMO They both need to do something to enhance themselves.

I tend to look at what the ticket could look like, which two will work best.

Right now I think

Kasich & Huckabee  Paul & Bush  Rubio & Cruz

I missed the early debate so can't comment on that.

I would hope no one came to any final conclusion last night, thanks for the comments.

I also agree on Christie/Bush.   Neither one impressed me last night.    I like Huckabee and Walker personally and they have experience in leading government also.    Carson left me most impressed though.   Probably because I had the least knowledge about him versus the other candidates.    I won't be surprised if he doesn't end up on the ticket as either the Presidential or Vice Presidential candidate.    Should be an interesting race.    I don't expect Trump to make it the long haul, his inexperience at debates and in politics was showing.    I'm not suggesting he'd be a poor leader, he has demonstrated leadership his entire life in the business world but, he may be a bit too devisive (similar to the Democrats candidates).

IMHO the Most presidential demeanor was the Ohio governor and he did remind me a lot of the
early Reagan   Lots of folks forget Reagan was a Democratic  and considered a liberal for
some of the same things Kasich supports when still running California

How he does as time goes forward will be interesting

Carson had the best sound bites and the smartest answers    Agree that any ticket may be stronger with him on it

Trump and Paul both came across as arrogant, good to tear down a democrat not so good to run the country

Paul might make a good AG
Christie to run homeland security or NSA

Trump's megalomania manifested itself last night. While he may be something big in the business world, he was shredded last night and demonstrated that he has no substance whatsoever. Further, it is my belief that he was inserted into the race to purposely torpedo any chance of the next President being Republican. In other words, he's a democratic shill.

Impressed? Carson is the most intellectual of all of them and he showed that. Rubio & Cruz both did very well. And Gov. Huckabee made his case very well.

Kasich is my governor.... and he is no Ronald Reagan.

He is a vindictive, little man, whose policies have decimated local governments and the services that they provide. All while giving his millionaire and billionaire buddies more tax cuts and other tools to screw the middle class. Pretty much the only lesser man on that podium was that twerp Walker.

All I can say, is God help us if either of those guys gets anywhere near the presidency.

While I don't think that Huckabee has much of a chance of winning, I do think that he would make a great president.

I have met the man and I have read one of his books.

He makes a lot of sense when he speaks and he always seems to think before he speaks, which is something that most candidates don't do.

The Republican party needs to have Rubio on the ticket somewhere, either as president or vice president. Rubio  brings fresh young blood to the party, he is a true conservative and he will pull in a large percentage of the Hispanic vote. The Republicans missed the boat by not having him on the ticket in the last election.

I don't know much about Carson. From watching him last night I know that he is a very good speaker and I thoroughly enjoyed the jabs that he took at Obama last night.

And it does my heart good to see a black Republican running for president.

Maybe a Rubio/Carson ticket or a Carson/Rubio ticket would be the key to getting the Dems out of the White House.

Out of all the candidates I think that Mike Huckabee would make the best president and would love to see a Huckabee/Rubio ticket.

Unfortunately, I think that his outspokenness about his religious beliefs hurt him in a national election. Too many people fear someone that is vocal about their beliefs. They are afraid that person will force their beliefs and morals onto them.

Mike Huckabee would not do that. He didn't do that as Governor of Arkansas and I don't see him doing so as President of the United States.

Time will have to tell how this shakes out. What bothers me the most is that the IDIOTS who voted for Obama Twice are still out there.

Maybe they won't be as fired up about the Hildabeast and we can get someone into the White House that actually loves and cares about this country.

There was certainly a lot of clinton bashing which I didn't want to hear, thats a waste of good time.

Trump and Paul didn't do very well as far as I'm concerned. Prior I liked what Trump had to say, but, Trump doesn't play well with others. He may make a good dictator, but not a President.

I would just as soon see a governor in the White House. I think Walker and Kasich did well as did Carly and Pataki in the early debate. I've always thought of Pataki as a conservative democrat, but, he did get some things changed in New York which is an amazing feat.

I like Carson, but, still not sure he is president material. [ He may actually be beyond that]

I didn't get a chance to watch the debates. But I like Rubio. Trump is ok but has a big mouth. A little to brash at times and your right. Doesn't play well with others. My fear is that if Trump doesn't get the nomination he will run as a independent. That will put Hillary in for sure.

At this point I would vote for Mickey Mouse for republican to keep another Democrat from messing the country up further....

I also didn't like Ms. Kelly that much.  Not that she/they did anything wrong, just a strange attitude she had with some of the candidates and with some of her color commentary.

I think Rubio appeared more polished than the others.  Paul seemed like a crybaby.  Trump stalled a bit.  Christie did well.  Bush was a nothing.  Carson definitely had the best lines.  The rest were milktoast.

It is interesting to read various accounts of the debates in the media.  They picked different winners for different reasons.  The good news is, most all the media agreed the debaters did a pretty good and creditable job.  And they commended the Fox moderators for tough questions (not Hillary softballs), but perhaps speaking too much. (Fox moderators Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Bret Baier spoke for 31 minutes and 53 seconds of the roughly two-hour broadcast, or 31.7% of the time).

I guess they wait until there is a frontrunner before they really begin attacking, belittling and demeaning him/her.

Not surprising, there is very little middle ground on that topic but, his record is exactly what brought him to my attention.

This poll closes in about three days, I surely do wish more folks would step up and vocalize their thoughts.

That was put in there just to discredit Trump.  Kelly's attitude when she addressed a candidate that she didn't like was plain to see.  I for one was glad to see Trump call her on it.  I thought the Huck was good and would be a good choice for Vise, and maybe Cruise for Pres,

I like Rubio, but I think we need the Donald.  Flame suit on.

one thing I didn't mention in my reply/opinion last night was the fact that after Trump said he would not rule out running as a 3rd party, I believe it was Kasich who came out as said (and I'm paraphrasing here) "Trump has opened the minds of others and has said things other people are afraid to say". Kasich also went on to say something like "The things that Trump has said are on the minds of many people", so I have to acknowledge his (Kasich) openness regarding Trump's opinions and his ability to say what is on his mind and the mind of others but are afraid to say because of political correctness.

Trumps views on the PC issue was spot on, he has that leisure to be able to say what is on his mind, a kind of "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead" mentality.

I also liked Rubio's view of having Hillary telling him on how to live pay check to pay check.

As for Christie, he is my governor, he is a typical no BS type personality and another who will "tell it like it is", for better or worse, as my father used to say "the truth hurts" and people have become afraid of the truth told to them. I liked the fact he knew exact numbers of our military, from the # of ships we have and need to the # of planes he feels we should have.

My primary concerns as a citizen are;

1) the strength of our military. are they armed properly and do we have what it takes to kick the donuts outta anyone who screws w/ us.

2) illegal immigrants. we need extreme measures to contain our boarders. I'm tired of illegal's coming here and committing their crimes as well as any terrorists that want access to our country.

I know we will never get the millions of illegals out that are here but the "real bad" ones have to go or face execution for the severe crimes they commit. And NO, illegals are not worthy of our justice system and the way it functions. They do not have the same rights as citizens of this country.

3) Our Vet's need better care, military personnel need more pay and better compensation for battle injuries.

4) Obama-care needs to go.

5) Foreign aid needs to stop to all those countries that do not like us and don't fall in line against world terrorism.

There's a bunch more but these are my top of the list items.

It's a sign of disrespect. I feel utter contempt and disrespect for most politicians, but especially those who are actively working to destroy western civilization.

I try to not lower myself to this level and just use their names, but I'll admit I sometimes refer to Obama as "The Current Occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue" or "The Anointed One" or something, but then again I often referred to George W Bush as "The Shrub" too...

I believe the party's best chance would be for a Carson/Carly ticket, which probably won't happen.
You could pull some of the black and women's vote away from Hillary.

That is a ticket I would support 1000%.

Not sure about that.   I don't know enough about either candidate to go there but, definitely something worth considering.    Both are smart and seem to have conservative values.

I liked Huckabee's answer about gays in the military:
The purpose of our military is not to preform social experiments, It's to kill people and break things.
I'm sure that was also said when black people were integrated in the military.
