Missouri Fall Color Ride

"It is getting to be that time again and we are planning our Fall Colors Ride.  This year we are visiting the Northwest part of Missouri...looking at a hotel in Bethany as our homebase for the weekend.  Monica and I will be running the route next weekend to make sure everything is good and we will check out the hotel to make sure it is agreeable for the needs. 

The Fall Colors Ride is scheduled for October 10th.  The planned route is about 240 miles and will take us down to Lexington, MO to walk around the Battle of Lexington State Historic Site.  Lunch will be at Fubbler's Cove in Orrick before we get to Lexington.  Dinner is planned for the Amish community of Jamesport at the Gingerich Dutch Pantry.  Then we will be back at the hotel to kick tires and tell stories. 

So...mark your calendars and stay tuned in for the hotel information.

Man, I'm sure that's gonna be a fabulous ride. Unfortunately have big family plans that weekend & won't be able to make it.
One of these days I hope to meet up with other Valk owners from the area.
Just got back from The Smoky Mountains, it's great, but the wife says we need to find an area a little closer to Wichita that has some beautiful scenery to ride. That Missouri ride sounds like a good ride, just can't make it this time.

I'll be there, forcast is currently clear, but cool. My bud Dave that had ridden to Wamigo with me.will be joining us also. I hope a few of you flatlanders.join us. LOL.
