Will the fact that he's been indicted force the driver's insurance to pay up?
Forgive me if that's a daft question.....

I checked out the guy's go fund me page https://www.gofundme.com/5q6mbhegJust wanted to say, went to court today for my passing in a no passing. AND THE TICKET WAS DISMISSED! Because in Texas, the minimum speed in a 60+ mph zone is 45 mph! He was doing over 10 miles an hour slower than that, which gave me the right to pass him! After everything was reviewed, he was going slower than 35 mph when i attempted to overtake him! So for everyone that has said this was my fault, i caused the accident, the State of Texas does not agree with you! I was following Texas law!

WRONG The pos crum was doing 15 - 20 MPH intentionally causing a hazardous condition. The bastard couldn't wait to assault someone. Bikers were NOT speeding and did the absolute prudent thing by going around the road hazard when traffic allowed, regardless of how many lines are painted on the pavement. Hope they fry this pos - we'll see. He would be free, on the street if not for go pro and big exposure on web and national news...

What probably did him in the most was the fact that he was in no way remorseful.

Perhaps some of our Barrister friends can chime in here.
Since the guy was found guilty of hitting them on purpose I'm unsure if his liability insurance is obligated to pay.
I'm thinking that the motorcyclists only recourse now is to sue the guy directly and force the sale of any property that he may own, including any monies that he may have in savings, pension fund etc.

I would say they are responsible as he represents them while driving.
