This is the quote I was referring to :
"I have a message for all of you: The crime and violence that today afflicts our nation will soon — and I mean very soon come to an end. Beginning on January 20th 2017, safety will be restored."
Sounds to me like he is saying crime and violence will come to an end soon. Jan. 20th to be exact.
Now I do realize he probably didn't mean it but that was his quote.

We hear and see so often what we wish to hear or see, maybe especially when we're anxious for someone to make a mistake.  What the speaker said would be heard by most American-English speakers to mean that the crime and violence in the form and frequency we are experiencing today will cease to be experienced in that form and frequency not that ALL crime and violence will cease.  I think if he meant all he would've said all.

We hear what we choose to hear.

OK folks, you do what you want, and vote for who you want.

The Donald may not be for everyone, but he will be the best one on the ballot come November, and that is pure fact (and no lie).

Most of my working life, I routinely donated to the National and State GOP, select candidates and of course the NRA and GOA.  After my 85% pay cut to retire, I only kept up my memberships (and have been none too happy with much of the GOP).  But today, I sat down and wrote a decent check to Mr Trump.  Just because he's rich doesn't mean he can't use our help, so ante up and get in the game.  Whatever you can afford.  Think of your dollars as Hillary coffin nails, or saving our country, or saving our Supreme Court (if it helps).

I have never solicited here before, but I am today.  We're all in this together, and this is as important a cause as we may ever have before us.  Remember that sick feeling in your soul after the last two elections?

I thought you cut your hair at 1/4". That's very hard to split.  :)

Alpha Dog

I must say Bravo to Valkorado, Wayne, and Jess on your participation you expressed above.  More of this needs to be done.

For myself, the wife cut a check last week.  I have bought gear to wear and Trump sign for the yard and now will get the Trump Pence.

I bought a Red

Make America Great Again hat at the  Dayton/Vandalia, OH rally back in March.   I have never been much of a hat wearer but I wear this while riding, well actually when I stop and take my helmet off.   This hat brings out discussion and usually heated discussion where ever I go and so far I would say it is over 80 percent ( maybe 90 percent ) positive for Trump.  A fair amount are Democrats, especially union or trade worker Democrats in the past.  In fact an electrical worker two weeks ago begged me to sell him my hat so he could wear it among his fellow electrical workers.   He was just so sincere I gave it to him and man was he proud.  I ordered two more hats, a shirt and sign for the yard.  My goal is to get more people out to vote.
