Are there any grab rails out there for a 97 tourer. I am trying to get my wife to start riding two up and I think this would give her some security. Thanks for any input.

The reason Rivco had em is because they came with the Rivco Center stand. I think they last made a run a couple years ago, when enough VRCCers signed up and committed to make it worthwhile for Rivco. You might want to contact them and ask if they have any sitting around.

The hand rails that go with the centerstand are not tall enough to comfortably  hold onto while riding.  They are for aiding one in lifting the rear onto the stand.  The passenger grab rails for riding mount to same location but are way higher and can be used as handles while riding

Ah, duly noted, Jeff. I had 2 Interstates and mama was always tucked in by the trunk and speaker pods for armrests. I did have the grabrails but you're correct in that their purpose was to help get the bike onto the center stand. Didn't know they wouldn't work well for passenger use. Thanks!  Smiley

Bigbikethings has arm rests for a Standard or Tourer.
