Was wondering if some one knows a part number for the cap bearings on the U-joints...??? If we can find out what size they are then we can at least try to replace the bearings if our U-joints go bad...like we do with car U-Joints...!!!

A while back , someone made a fixture for installing a car U-joint. I do not remember much more.
It was then a re buildable joint. The OEM are staked and non serviceable as is.

This was all attempted back around 2013-14', when u-joints where not available new. Someone did find a shop who would change out the u-joint in the yoke, but there where also reports of failures after only 5-10K miles.

For the time/cost, it is still not much more just to buy the OEM.

Now, if you can find a complete yoke that swaps out with ours, then you might have something. It was one or the other, a CR-V 05' (?) that might have matched.

A search should help out.
