Excellent idea! May I suggest it be held around July 14-18th, maybe somewhere in northern Michigan?  :cooldude:

Rode to work again today.  3 out of 4 this week.  I'm off tomorrow, but it is supposed to rain all day (and most of the weekend) anyways.  So it's not likely I'll get any miles in for my birthday.  :(

cutter

I can get use to this no jacket required to ride!  :D but I'll leave the speedo-less to Big IV  :2funny:

Light rain on the way home, but 5 in a row is good... maybe tomorrow, too!

Black Pearl's Captain

Well for the first time this year, 5 for 5. WOOHOOYEEHAWWOWLOLROTFLMAO

Good day everyone.

Karen

I'll see your 5 and raise you 1 for last Friday, 6 in a row, spring is here, so much maintenance, so little time... It's really true, if you put your raingear on first thing in the morning, you won't need it!

cutter

I won't mention how many day's in a row for me...... cause I've lost count  :2funny:

Go ahead... rub it in... And enjoy every minute! We just don't get as many sane opportunities up here, which makes the ones we do get seem so sweet.

cutter

Just poke'n fun  ;) and know what ya mean. Spent 20 years in the Great White North. Just making up for lost time  :cooldude:

I  hear you. Cliff, I didn't even go to work, too busy shoveling out the bottom of the driveway to keep it from flooding the basement any more than is already oozing in from the other side of the house. So far, the shop vac is keeping up. Tomorrow looks rideable!

I rode fast in the FOG.  It was 52 deg. and REALLY FOGGY.  But the ride home will be worth it.

I rode fairly fast in the fog on the freeway.

Okay, who's next?

Dag

The question is not what you look at...but what you see...

cutter

No fog today and with spring break under way... the traffic is down.  :)

No fog for me either.  I thought there was a lot of sand in the air until I noticed the sand hitting my face was leaving droplets on my glasses.   ;D

The mist only lasted for about ten miles.

I passed under a couple of good flights of northbound geese and it seemed to me there were more children of the field sleeping along the roadside.  Both are sure signs of the soon arrival of Spring.

Will ride to work tomorrow...once the flood water subside....got slammed with over 4" of the wet stuff over the weekend. They said it would have been over 40" of the white stuff...Come on Spring...I will ride when I get home, just want to sit on the new solo seat... :cooldude:

Yeah, that's always been a bit ambiguous to me.  I took a shower?  I experienced a shower?  I was awarded, provided, allotted a shower?

At any rate, this morning I was naked and there was water.  I felt good about the results.   :)

I rode to the courthouse to pay my property tax, saw your bike parked at work on the way in.  Riding in took some of the sting off emptying my wallet!  :o hoser

WOOOHOOOO!!!   3 for 3 this week, and tomorrow looks good too!  But one thing is killing me.  My bike is TRASHED!!!  It is so dirty from riding on these wet and salty roads around here.  It is really embarassing, actually.  I really need to get it washed.  Usually, I just wipe it down with some Honda spray cleaner or Maguires Detail Spray.  But it is FAR beyond that.  And it got that way because it has been so cold that my spray cleaners were FROZE!!  I actually tried to clean my windshield one morning just so I could see...that was a mistake.  While the glass cleaner wasn't froze in the bottle, it immediately froze when sprayed on the windshield.  I was late getting to work that day.  The big problem is that my garage where I keep my bike has no water and is about 100ft from my house...where the hose is.  And my yard is just too wet and soggy to ride across right now...you can barely walk on it without getting your shoes full of water.  It is like a swamp. I may just have to scrounge up a bunch of hoses and hook them together.  Either that or I'll stop by the car wash and hose off the big stuff, then wipe it down in the garage with the spray cleaners.  Either way, it is really bugging me.

First time for 2010 ... around 38 when I left and the temps are suppose to get into the low 60's by the time I make the return trip ... life is good.  :cooldude:

WEEEEEEEEEEE

First time this year.
37F by the porch thermometer, supposed to be 60+ this afternoon. Roads were a bit gritty so the cornering was taken with a grain of salt..... literally. The highway miles made me remember the plan for inventing a fur cup that I procrastinated on again.
However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

Cold weather, I use a spray bottle with hot water, to get the nasty stuff off and then dry with a soft CLEAN towel...you can pick those up at the dollar store...also, they travel well in the saddle bags...
