Steering stem nut tool

I should also mention I have the Honda inner fork nut tool I can loan if anyone needs it. 

I'll let ya know DFG, that was mighty kind. If I had dimensions I could get one made How wide and tall are the 4 prongs? How far apart (ID and OD), and 90 degrees between each?

I'd like to get this squared away soon, it's annoying me, LOL.

I don't know how much it's sold for, but you can get the seller's Email from [Edit] post at bottom of page. I'm thinking of doing my steering stem later this year, so if you do end up ordering it from the seller, let us know how it is.

Another option is to make one.  A section of pipe from Home Depot is just the right diameter (3" I think it was; somebody hep me out); pencil-mark the cogs and grind the rest away, take that and a large washer and an old socket down to the muffler shop and have them weld it; a guy I didn't know there was willing to do it for free.  Cost very low, time probably two or three hours.  Turned out highly functional though the welding looks like Frankenstein's daughter  .  Just another option that's easier than it sounds.

Go to Harbor Freight or similar place and buy a 36mm deep well impact wrench socket. Then cut the teeth spacing as mentioned, just don't try cutting it with a hacksaw. That would be like teaching a sheep to sit on command.....you waste a lot of time and energy and accomplish nothing. Use a die grinder.

Redflash   I have one that I made, I live in Derry it may not be as sweet as one in pic but it works. let me know if you still need one and if you are near Derry I will loan it to you as I wont need for abit. If any one has measurements for fork tool I could use that as I want to make another piece for this tool. If there is a need for these I can make them i just need to find hardware.   Be Good, Matt

I will be doing my stem nut tomorrow, late afternoon, hopefully I have the fork nut tool as well and you may borrow it to use or measure it.
