Gotta luv it!    They need to add "bring" and "take" to that list. Such as....you don't bring your kid to the doctor, you TAKE him/her/it to the doctor. I've never figured out where a transgender fits, so I included "it" just for good measure.

Around here you will hear "crick" for a small stream, which is nonstandard.  Standard usage is a painful, stiff neck.

Two that I continue to struggle with is affect and effect.
Affect is usually used as a verb where effect is usually a noun.
The rain affected Tammy's hairdo, but it had no effect on Amy's hair.
Grammar Girl notes that effect usually refers to a result.
