I just ordered a Woody's fairing for my '98 standard. The fairing will have a radio, a switch for 2 30 watt driving lights and a 12 volt power outlet. I would like everything to shut off when I turn off the ignition. I will run a hot to the memory of the radio off of the battery. What is the best way to wire this? Can I use 1 relay for everything or seperate relays? Thanks.

If all the power is going to be used at the same time, all you should need is a relay/fuse/wire that can handle the total AMPs. A single connection will keep things cleaner.

As for the "signal" for the relay, can't help there. Some have said off the start button, so power turns off when starting the engine, but since you have a non IS, you have all the power already going through the starter switch.

There are a few ways to do it.

Here are a few old threads with some wiring and relay tips that may help.
