Upper 30's riding into work this morning. Chaps and cold weather riding jacket/gloves made it a very pleasant ride in.
Mid 60's and sunny for the ride home will be great!

The past 2 days were mid 40's on the way in. Slacks were almost to light for the ride. Light full fingered gloves and dress shoes were just right. Fingers were a little cold when I got here, but not bad at all. Low 70's on the way home, so I might stop by HotGlue's for a visit... Y'all ride safe. Hay Jimmyt

Cool ride in.
Rode home in the dark (I'm another one that doesn't like the return to standard time). We were in drizzle and mist most of the way home. It didn't seem all that cold until I got into the house and had some trouble locating my equipment.
I hope tomorrow will be bright and sunny; the tomorrow we're hoping it will be.

Rode all week and tomorrow looks good too. 55-60 in the morning and low 80's on the way home. Leather jacket was almost too much this afternoon, if it wasn't almost 6 when I left work and yes GL, it was almost dark. Hay Jimmyt

Mid 30's and cloudy when I left this morning for work. They are calling for mid 40's for the high so should be a rather nice ride home as well.

Wore the mesh jacket in to work this morning. It was very nice 65 degrees. Will be high 80's on the way home... As Gear Jammer would say "this is our prime riding season". Hay Jimmyt

What a beautiful day!
I'm riding to New Orleans for a 'Treme' HBO series shoot. This is the final season, and I'm trying to get in every episode possible.
The temp is in the high 60's with not a chance of seeing a cloud all day. My return home will be after midnight with lows in the mid 50's.
I'll have a very short nap before leaving Saturday morning before daylight to go on a 70 mile country ride to join with other PGR riders for an escort. We are then, proudly leading the way from Jackson, La. to Walker, La. with several busses of nursing home Veterans following us.
The parade that we will be attending is an annual event. We take special care to personally honor every Veteran that we can possibly greet, knowing that for some of these gentlemen, it will be their last mission. I'm astonished at how many old soldiers that I met at last years ceremony, I've also been asked to render their last honors.
To every Veteran out there: Thank you for your service and God bless America.

41 degrees when I left home......roads were a little damp.....I got new rubber a month ago and have been dealing with downed trees and cleanup (thanks Hurricane Sandy) for 2 weeks without any riding. Gonna hit 80,000 miles on the way home. Supposed to be 65 degrees this afternoon...

The roads were soaked and the low level clouds were racing south to north, but it was sixty-four degrees on the third day of December. I was afraid that if I didn't ride in someone would show up to confiscate my motorcycle endorsement. I know you Texas and Florida boys don't understand it, but this is a pretty special occasion in my part of the world. It was a nice ride in, even with the wind.

I might have to give mine up.... it was 72 this morning, but was actively raining when I was ready to leave. I took the truck. (wussy)... That is my rule, if it's raining when I am ready to leave, I take the truck. I don't mind getting wet on the way home, but I'm not going to keep a pair of slacks and a shirt at werk..... I DID ride almost 600 miles on Saturday with the Texas bunch to Lockhart for BBQ. Hay Jimmyt

I agree, Jimmy. I don't mind changing when I get home, but I hate sitting in the air conditioned office with soggy drawers.

well sometimes the hills are pretty wet and slippery in the mornings and I dont always ride either
(twice down on oil is enough)
but today I did ride, it was slippery, but the sun came out and it was a beautiful ride to work, to the courthouse and back to the office.
working till 7pm so it will be dark tonight for the trip home

49 this morning and foggy, barely missed a piece of timber in the middle of the road. One of those pieces like they use for stops when chaining down a load. Really don't know how I missed it, but we survived. Rest of the trip was uneventful, thankfully. Beautiful ride back home. Got up to 74 today.

50's in the morning & high 70's in the afternoon. Rode to work today {44 miles each way} for the first time since my hand surgery. Did get a nicer 100 mile ride to Webster on Sunday. Hand still sore but NO FALLING ASLEEP anymore!!

Thirty degrees (F), zero percent chance of rain, and a sixty mile jaunt into the office today. It was almost a no brainer.
I rode the Interstate today. Actually I rode the Interstate by way of the Interstate. A friend once commented to me that the Interstate offers an awful lot of wind protection for a minimalist. He was correct, but this morning it was not difficult for me to concede to its offering.
There were some ominously shiny road surfaces in town, but all in all it was a good ride.

It's been in the 20's every morning this week except today. So I rode to work today. Several people here at the hospital seemed shocked that I rode. I had to explain that it 1. was above 30, 2. had clear skies showing, and 3. there was dry pavement. With conditions that good, in Junuary, in NW Missouri just 20 miles south of the Iowa line, how could I not ride to work? It was a little brisk, but that's why I wore enough leather to make cows nervous and wore the warm gloves. The ride home should be in the upper 50's and be fabulous.
