These would be the widows and orphans with suicide vests and Kalashnikovs? Let Barry host them at his house.

I'll be glad when his reign of terror is over.

I find it shocking that hillary says her enemy is the republican party[ as well the other stupid things she says]. Yet there are still so many that can't wait for the opportunity to vote for her. I'm afraid she will continue this 'reign of terror'.

PAVALKER

Big deal, our elected leader is afraid of windows and organs....you know, transparent windows so we can see what he is up to and doing and organs that you might find in a church.

But then something like this...

These are Turks, generally considered to be the more secular of Muslims (Correct me if I'm wrong here Jess) at a soccer game, they were asked to observe a moment of silence for the victims of the Paris attacks...

Their response was to boo and start chanting Allahu Akbar... (Which, seeing how universal that phrase is, (It just means "God is the greatest") I'm sure someone could argue they were shouting it as a lament or prayer for the dead, but combined with the boo'ing, I ain't buying it.)

And these are our Allies in the Muslim world... Hell, they're even a member of NATO!

I ain't, buying it either.  I'd take just about anything they say (other than they want to kill us all) with a whole shaker of salt.  I don't think we can be reminded of this enough.

I've held the opinion for some time that the problem isn't radical Islam or the likes of Isis.

The problem is Islam.

ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the likes of them are just the militant arm of Islam.

The radical Islam folks are the ones who DO try to promote peace and nonviolence.  That is the radical position in an Islamic world.

The violent, militant, and terroristic Islam is mainstream Islam. The evidence for this is self evident.

We've seen hundreds of Islamic led attacks over the last couple decades. Dozens of major ones.

How many times have we seen an institutional condemnation of these attacks by the Islamic Leadership?

Not only can I can count the number of times that has happened on one hand I can do it even if they decide to chop off both my hands. In the name of peace of course.

Islam is only compatible with itself.

Until there is an institutional change in the attitude of Islam they need to be isolated and not tolerated.
They need to have a renaissance within their culture and then we can consider accepting them into a civilized society.

We better realize this soon.
We need to put down the militant arms of Islam and Isolate Islam untill the attitude changes and do it with prejudice and purpose.

During my two tours in the mid- 80's, the Turks were very pro US.  The threats at the time were the Soviets/eastern block, and Beirut/Syria, and the Kurds (who want a homeland out of eastern Turkey and Western Iraq (still do).  The only terror threat in those days was the Kurds against the Turks, and the US stayed out of it.

In all my time there, I was only called an infidel once, and that was more likely due to marrying a Turk beauty who was on my arm, not my supposed Christianity (9 out of 10 times I was taken for German, not American; they have a long time association with the Germans, and liked them too). I was last there in 1990.  I loved my time over there, people were exceeding friendly and generous and courteous to a fault.  Except they drive like maniacs.

25 years of war later, I think they don't like us as much as they used to.  We've killed them by accident a number of times, and innocents always suffer in war.  Like many places, I think the youth is more anti-US than older people who understand what a friend the US has been to Turkey for many decades.  And soccer games will be overly attended by youth, and soccer fans everywhere get all jacked up on boring soccer games.  Look, he kicked a ball.  And the US has since greatly interfered in their internal dealings with the Kurds (which is in OUR best interest, not theirs, and their dismay at this is completely understandable).

The Turkish G is more Islamic than ever before, and they have gone against the generals who traditionally stood for Turkish secularism and democracy against the G when necessary (two coups in 60 and 80).

I had really hoped to spend some long visits over there in my retirement, but am no longer very close with my in-laws (though they all sided with me in the split up), and that will probably not happen.

Too bad.  They remain a very patriotic people...... like our country used to be.

Just saw on the news where 38 governors were opposed to taking Syrian refugees into their state, followed by a statement from top White House officials that they would hide the identity and not tell the state governments were they settled them. WTF is wrong with our so called leaders? Maybe this is what's needed to finally bring this to a head. obama just appears to be getting more radical by the day.

I remember well the live shots from big cities, all over the world, on 9/11.

They were FILLED with 100,000's of Muslims, cheering the attacks in New York.

However, within a day, the news quit showing the celebrating Muslims.

I am sure all those 100,000's, if not millions, of Muslims, were not ALL radicals.

I got mixed up in the 9/11 thing. I live in upstate NY and that night the news channels were all showing the muslim college students in Buffalo out in the streets cheering.

Once upon a time there was a king who wanted to go fishing.

He called the royal weather forecaster and inquired as to the weather forecast for the next few hours. The weatherman assured him that there was no chance of rain in the coming days.

So the king went fishing with his wife, the queen. On the way he met a farmer on his donkey. Upon seeing the king the farmer said, "Your Majesty, you should return to the palace at once because in just a short time I expect a huge amount of rain to fall in this area".

The king was polite and considerate, he replied: "I hold the palace meteorologist in high regard. He is an extensively educated and experienced professional.  And besides, I pay him very high wages. He gave me a very different forecast. I trust him and I will continue on my way."  So he continued on his way.

However, a short time later a torrential rain fell from the sky.  The King and Queen were totally soaked and their entourage chuckled upon seeing them in such a shameful condition.>

Furious, the king returned to the palace and gave the order to fire the professional. Then he summoned the farmer and offered him the prestigious and high paying role of royal forecaster.>

The farmer said, "Your Majesty, I do not know anything about forecasting.  I obtain my information from my donkey. If I see my donkey's ears drooping, it means with certainty that it
will rain."

So the king hired the donkey. And thus began the practice of hiring dumb asses to work in the government and occupy its highest and most influential positions.

And the practice is unbroken to this date...

Widows and orphans?   What a load of c**p!

At least in Europe, 70% of the refugees are listed as single, male, 18-35 year olds!  Widows and orphans?  ANOTHER lie from the White House.

None of Obamas actions should surprise anyone.  After all he has been degrading states rights ever since he has been in office.  How many times did he have Eric Holder sue the individual states when they bucked what he wanted????   He doesn't believe in a Democratic republic.  His ideal and the only government that he believes in, is a Dictatorship.

It's fair.  He has as much respect for the opposition as they have for him.

Some of us aren't watching closely enough.  The President of the United States is a Muslim sympathizer at best.  At worst he is a closet Muslim.  Our real problem isn't with the President.  His term ends in a year or so but the voters that brought him to that position will continue to vote well into the future.
