I have a 98 standard with leather bags. Wanting to change the paint this winter so want to go with a set of hard bags. Looking for a set that flows with the line of the bike and not a "universal set". If someone knows of such a bag your help would be appreciated.

Champion brand, Patriot They have 1500 brackets you can buy or the bag fits stock Honda hardware. Look for a used set. I found two sets paid no more than $250 shipped  Black set on my 1800C below http://www.sideroadcycles.com/AmericanMotorcycles/Hard_Bags/Champion_Hard_Bags.html Or used Stock. |

I noticed the other day it is easy to get Vulcan saddlebags for less than $300 on eBay most of the time... here's a Valkyrie with Vulcan saddlebags...  You'd have to get them painted and mount them some kind of way (OEM leather bag mounts are a good start)... -Mike |

The Ace Tourer bags are the same OEM bags. Sadly the support brackets are not the same.
