Anyone tired of all this rain yet?  One of the wettest Sept. going so far.

Most definitely! Here's to hoping for some warmer temps (Indian summer?) and no rain for next weekend's Southern Indiana Fall Ride.

Another one in the books Ind. fall ride
First of all I would like to thank everyone that attended this year’s fall ride it is folks like you that makes this ride worth doing.   Diana and I had a great time and as always it was great to see old friends and meet new friends. Even though we only had about 35 miles to get home we took the long way home we are not going to have many more days like this.
Can’t wait till next. Until then
Ride safe

Hey Brian, I put the Valk away for the Winter back in the 2nd week of October. Today I went for one last ride on the V-Strom and then did the oil & filter change, clean & lubed the chain, & topped it off with stabilized gas and hooked it up to the Tender. I now have 2 of them napping until about the middle of March.

Was out today (Friday) as a matter of fact. Diane and I rode up to Hayden Honda to look at some jackets for her. Nice weather for a ride, if a bit breezy.

I never put my baby away. I always try to ride her at least once every month, even if it's only a 5-10 mile jaunt, just to say I've ridden her every month of the year.   coolsmiley 2funny

Rode to thanksgiving dinner yesterday (2 miles each way) and then to work today(30 miles round trip) Now that I've got the windshield for the Std I'll ride as long as Ice isn't a concern.

I have to top off the tank and add more Sea Foam. I've not been riding because of the cataract surgery. I'm gonna let the Strom doze but I might wake it up on a nice day.  The garage makes it easy , no hassle , way to get the bike out on the street.  I'm not overly concerned about rusting the chrome because the Strom ain't got none, LOL.

Real tired of it now. Almost Dec and still raining, windy and too warm for deer hunting most of the time. Was able to ride to work on Black Friday though.

I'm still riding to work when possible, last time was Friday. Didn't need to zip the jacket or even where the gloves on my way home, very nice weather for riding but pretty poor for deer hunting.

Started to fill the truck today when I got back from the morning hunt and realized I'd pulled in the way I do on the bike so the kickstand is away from the pump. Can't gas up a dodge truck that way. Embarrassed

we have had three nice rides in the past 3 days.  got to ride the interstate to moms for thanksgiving and then to the mother-in-laws all in all about 50 miles.  Then on Fri. we did just over 150 miles on the road star for lunch and today just over 180 miles on the tour in the country seeing the country side and things you can't see in the summer time love this time of year. Ho the other thing i like about riding this time of year is. In the last 3 days of riding I have not had to clean one bug off the windshield love it. You just really have to watch for deer running from all the hunters out there

ride safe

Mine's in a million pieces right now for winter repairs/upgrades. Neighbor was nice enough to let me take a lap on his Wing. Got about 5 miles on it, Went and topped off the fuel for him, for letting me ride.

Yeah. I'm hoping to be back on two wheels in a couple of weeks. Haven't been off the home place since gettin' the plate removed on the 17'th. Hoping to get the staples out this coming Thursday. Wish there was a symbol for "keeping your fingers crossed".

Made it out today, first time this year. 68 and bright sunshine, got in just under 100 miles. Bike ran great considering it was sitting for just under three months. My PMS seems better tonight.  Grin Grin Grin
